Lida could feel the predator in her growing, her chest rising with unnecessary breaths just so she could absorb the scent of the elemental before her. Pulling her lower lip into her mouth, she could almost taste him. It was always so good when they had just touched Earth; she could taste it in their blood. She'd be lying if she said that she wasn't impressed with the finesse that he possessed as he stood, his hands raising to protect himself. He's a fighter. Lida didn't want to use the walking cliche, but she certainly loved a challenge. "No worries," she answered, her smile dripping with charm. "I probably should have called before coming over." A chuckle and shrug. Silly vampires, always forgetting their manners when it was dinner time.
"I was just in the neighborhood," A dimple formed as she smiled at him, the slightest edge of flirtation in her voice. Now he was just being cute. Inviting her in out of the rain? It wasn't every day that her food was polite. Of course, by this time they usually saw her fangs. The closer she got to Troy, the clearer she could hear his heart beating, a slow and steady thump thump that echoed in her mind as the drops of rain fell around them. "That would be nice, thank you." Lida motioned for him to lead the way by extending her hand towards the door. She began to run through her mind of all the people she had drank from. She had left a trail of bodies behind in every city that she had lived in over the course of her life, but she wasn't entirely sure that she was ready to start piling them up here. Of course, that wasn't what she was thinking of as she watched Troy, studying his movements. It would be so easy, wouldn't it, to just take him right here with his back turned. He wouldn't even have a chance to fight her before she had her way with him. She deserved an award for her self restraint. She wanted so badly to taste him, to feel his blood pour into her mouth and to have Earth inside of her again.
