Daisy's outfit had been dirty when Rina had last seen her, and she had been concentrated on other things, but now she was able to get the full effect and she had to say that she was a little surprised at what she saw. For someone who preferred muted shades with maybe a 'daring' blue thrown in here or there it was quite a shock. She was certain that she had never seen Darklis dress like that either. "I say thank you right back for this gift." Rina accepted the basket and moved inside, setting it on the floor before going to close the door. She thought it might be bad enough to have let one person Darklis did not know in without allowing the rest of the neighborhood a glance as well. "Although I do wish that you would rest, but thank you for coming to see me... come sit down, please." Rina would hover until Daisy did as she said. Adult or no, she was still one of Rina's wards and the angel was capable of worrying with the very best of them. Her neck twitched slightly at the question about the house, her eyes flicking to where she could just barely hear movement. "It isn't my house, it's my cousin's. So I don't live alone, no. There's also Trouble always."
'My fuzzy ears are burning!' Trouble chirped from his place in Darklis' hand. She fit very well there and was a huge fan of being carried around. It made her fall. Though almost nothing could beat when Celeste had taken her flying. She really, really wanted to do that again. 'Hello new person!' Trouble added a wide-mouthed mew when Darklis extended her out towards Rina before wrapping her short legs around Darklis' hand. 'You can't go, you have to stay!'
Rina forced herself to look at Darklis when she mentioned Trouble, along with an implication that she would just be getting something to eat before leaving. "You're not inter-rupting," Rina said quietly, knowing that Darklis would hear her. "Please, you should stay." It was like an offering of some sort, saying that she wanted Darklis there instead of gone. Which she really did. She missed having her closer than 'the same house' because of an incident that had been more her fault than anything. She wondered if Darklis blamed her for being stubborn or herself for doing it. Rina would have to make sure the latter was not the case. Darklis should not feel badly for doing something that was necessary. 'You could've not looked at her like she was trying to kill you when she did it.' Trouble mewed again when Rina stepped closer and accepted her, wriggling up onto her shoulder to get a better look at the new girl. 'Which one of them is this?' Rina's cheeks took on a pink hue and she glanced down. "This is Daisy. We... met on the bridge." When I couldn't find Darklis, but someone else did and I got to save her instead. "Daisy; this is my cousin, Darklis and my familiar, Trouble. Do you mind if she visits for awhile?" Though Rina looked older she was still very aware that not only was Darklis the elder, but it was her house. "What do you have there?"
But it was the oddest thing that the usual flow of emotions she was used to getting from Darklis were almost intensified enough to make Rina feel more awkward than she would have been able to on her own, but... what was coming from Daisy was actually enough to cancel it out. Rina almost forgot how she was feeling in the wake of it. 'Turn the empathy down, you're all sorts of things! It's confusing me.'
