"Probably not, no. But I guess so long as its not iron or silver, I'm good." Because really, that stuff was just terrible even when Lee was not even close to it. It set his teeth on edge, and he did not like the effects of when he actually touched the stuff. No, it was safest just to keep away from it altogether, thus lessening his bad feelings. "What sort of currency will I pay in?" Lee lifted his brows, as if he was seriously asking that question. "I don't have the paper money, but I bet I could give you something of value." He glamoured a stream of blue and green swirls in the air, his hand trailing to the side. "Happiness? Shiny tricks? I'm sure we'll think of something." He winked conspiratorially. And no, Cheyenne really did not need to puff her chest out so, Lee's eyes moving right down to her breasts. His eyes widened immediately as he ripped his gaze back up -- had he really just done that? Maybe she didn't notice. "Oh, there's plenty in life to be ashamed of, at least for me! But I can spot a member of the shenanigans crew from a mile off, seeing as I'm the leader." What? It was definitely true, so long as Cheyenne understand that Lee meant that they were the only two people in the crew. Because other people didn't get to have this much fun, no.
The little screech and laugh that Cheyenne gave had Leland laughing outright. She barely weighed anything at all, and it was easy to hold her fast, even though she tried to press against his back to get up and away. "Charlatan?" Lee gave an offended gasp, sounding scandalized. "Your words cut me deep, Sunshine." And then she was pinching at his hips and poking his ribs and Lee burst out laughing. Not only was he ticklish -- only for Cheyenne, it seemed -- but he was just enjoying her attempts to get away. He wriggled slightly at her touch, his hold slipping a little. "I hear you, loud and clear." But her saying that while giggling? Not convincing. Leland continued to dash about through the trees, the rain coming down hard. "You know, you make a better umbrella than the one I made. I'll have to remember that for next time." While the part that Cheyenne wasn't laying over was getting soaked, Lee was safely dry where her body provided just enough shelter to block out the rain. Still, after he ran around a little bit, he decided to set her down. He leaned in with the boosted speed from the daytime hours, planting a quick kiss to Cheyenne's forehead. Dashing away into the trees, he laughed merrily. "Bet you can't catch me!"
