Today it was raining, again. Lotti did not so much mind the rain, but she happened to not like the way it seemed to drag everyone's moods down into the dumps. Everyone's mood except hers of course. Lotti was generally just the cheerful sort of person, and the weather was not really able to phase her as much as some people. Plus, it was an excuse to go to the mall and just look around -- if she had to be indoors, at least she would be having fun! She'd gotten permission to go by herself, which had been a hard thing to do, seeing as her left arm was still very much broken. She assured her mother that emergencies were what cell phones were for and that she would call if she needed anything. After that hurdle was jumped, the next has been the driving part, wherein she'd had to at least ask her mother for a ride. Did that make her childish? Lotti did not think so, and if it did, then she always could just say that she was not stupid enough to drive in the rain with one of her arms in a cast. That was just not smart, in every way.
The mall was always packed with people, and even more so seeing as everyone had fled indoors from the rain. Still, it was interesting to pick up on people's scents and how the rain changed it ever so slightly. Still, Lotti couldn't resist moving closer to a girl who smelled very faintly of cat. She couldn't understand if the girl simply owned a cat and hugged them all the time or what. She didn't smell exactly like a were, so that left Lotti feeling curious. Would it be rude of her to ask why this girl smelled of cat? Still, when the girl addressed the way that the clerks were staring at her, Lotti couldn't help but giggle a little bit. Taking in the way the stranger looked, Lotti tilted her head to the side at what she said. "You know, they're probably just jealous that they can't pull off the wet look quite so well." What? It was true, and Lotti meant it as a compliment. She didn't like girls that way, but she could see how guys would find her attractive. "And umbrellas are overrated anyway, a little rain never hurt anybody." Lotti flashed a winning smile. Though, she probably felt that way seeing as she had run in from the car and barely had much in the way of raindrops on her hoodie. Her hair was a bit damp, but that was really it.
"It's still rude of them, but people can be like that." The matter-of-fact way that Lotti stated that part did nothing to dampen the smile on her face.
