He held the door open for Lux to rush in, because seriously, he wouldn't be surprised if it was the Great Flood going on out there. Not that Simon spent a lot of time outside, just on principle. The only tan he ever had was thanks to good genes, he was a nerd kid through and through and he was pale enough to prove it, even before he had Cosmic Comics. "Come on, I've got a coatrack in the office. And maybe a towel too." He led her back to said office, which was as nerdy as the rest of the comic book store. Why yes, Simon did have a few video game figurines on his desk, along with a lot of papers and things to be organized. That was also part of that day's project, considering that he wasn't very good at it most days. He was smart, but he wasn't a miracle worker.
It took him a minute of searching, but finally he came up with an old t-shirt advertising the store. "Hey, it's not a towel, but it'll work," he said, tossing it to Lux. "Not like I care what happens to it. I might have a spare beanie kicking around in case you're worried about what your hair looks like." Simon stopped giving a shit about his hair in high school. Why yes, it was still sticking straight out on end, and that was without the assistance of hair gel, too. At least he'd embraced it instead of trying to fix it all the time. "So what's up?"
Lux needs to say hi to me, that's what's up!
Simon laughed. "Also, Charmander's here." Charmander. His fucking familiar had the same name as a Pokemon. You couldn't make this shit up.
