The arrival of another woman near them stopped Lux from telling the seriously injured woman that she could help locating the people she was calling for later, when things were less chaotic. She looked up to see that despite the metal shard shoved in her cheek, the woman did not seem too bothered. The way she spoke was a little weird given the circumstances, at least.
Not wanting to meddle in private business she let the two talk, although when the injured one said she needed blood, Lux furrowed her brow. Then, Lux realized the panic had masked all of her senses and that was why she hadn't been able to smell it before, but now, that her brain had been called to pay attention, she did. "Oh." Lux shook her head at herself. Some instincts these were, she couldn't even notice when she was kneeling between two vampires. "Uh, no problem. I'm Lux, what's yours?"
Looking up at the woman who was standing, she blinked. "Well I would know better if she was...you know...alive." Sensitiveness training had never been updated to handle this. "Still I guess she should be stabilized and taken the hell out of here and considering the state of her legs a gurney would help." She shrugged. "I guess they might be able to give her some blood at the hospital, but I'm really not sure how that works now; I've been...away, lately." Away inside her mind, away from pain and hurt and everything that she couldn't handle. And now she was here. Smack in the middle of it.
