"Ozzy's. I've heard about that place. I'll have to pass the word along. Though I'm not sure she's big on going out at night. Never been able to talk her into a club even once. Maybe she'll make an exception for fellow Aussies." Jon would possibly think that Aussies were a little weird based off his experience with Missy, but he wasn't the sort to pre-judge. It was highly unlikely that Brodie here needed to consume massive amounts of caffeine just to get out of bed in the morning. Probably didn't qualify as a dangerous animal before he had his Monster or coffee either. "You're not addicted to caffeine or anything are you? That's not an Aussie thing?"
'Yes!' Half-pint finished off her meal and tossed her head when she looked up at Brodie. 'Big and fearsome and no one will be able to look at me and even think about hurting Jon.' Big familiar was totally the way to go. Half-pint had come across a cat that was a familiar and she just didn't get it. Or a pig. What good could they do?
"Pretty much yeah, unless she breaks rules and comes looking for me." Half-pint acted like she couldn't hear him. "I've been thinking about that." He didn't even pause at the use of a word he wouldn't have really known before meeting Missy. "Not building, but just finding a place so that Half-pint can check up on me and I can make sure that she's not getting herself into trouble." He rubbed at the rain that was soaking his hair again. "Man, what're you doing out in the woods in the rain?"
