Missy did not flinch when Nikita said that Kristen had told her she was a clairvoyant. When had she told the vampire? Why had she told the vampire? "Then you know that you can't help what that girl knows and once she knows it you can't get rid of it. She just had to know the truth." Missy could not have stood for her sister thinking that she was just a cold-blooded murderer who went around killing whoever happened to get in the way of her gun. No, she had a reason and now Kristen was aware of it. It would tear at her since vampires were supposed to be socially acceptable now, but she was getting close to the right age and she had already known in part. Missy never believed that Kristen had saw none of what had happened that night.
"You'd love that, wouldn't you?" Missy wanted to make her. Just reach up and shove her away so that she had some space left to breathe, but she had a feeling that if she did that then there would be nothing at all to stop Nikita from going for her gun. Then where would she be? In the middle of a fight downstairs while her sister was upstairs. Yeah, she would rather never do that. When she saw Nikita's hand moving up, Missy flinched back. Her head struck against the wall from it and the room spun for a moment, but she caught herself against the same wall and shook the spots out of her sight. "You wouldn't," she hissed. "What does it even matter to you, Nikita, why would you even say that?" Anger was flashing through her veins, heating up her skin and she knew that it was starting to show just how much that idea got to her. "I swear to god, Nikita, if you so much as touch her then I will kill you. I don't care..." No, she was not saying that, something else. "I don't care if Kristen and Silvia are stood right there. See has a son and he needs her and I will be damned if I let another family get torn apart by vampires. If all you've got left to do is threaten the things I care about then get the hell out of my house. You weren't eve welcome here in the first place." Her head hurt where she had hit it. All that she wanted to do was curl up in her bed and pretend to sleep. She did not even want to call Jadyn, she just wanted to be alone.
