Hush little baby don't you cry Who: Nikita and Silvia Where: Nikita's home When: Just after this
Kristen couldn't have meant all those things that she'd said. She'd only said them because she was upset, jealous even and by this tomorrow she'd have called and apologized and they could forget that anything had happened at all. That's what she wanted to happen. She wanted it all to be a mistake or a bad dream or something that had simply gone wrong when it didn't need to. All she'd wanted to do was have Kristen be happy for her. She'd decided to come back to being a human and that was a good thing! One of the only friends that she'd managed to make at school should've been happy for her, not saying things that weren't true. Insulting her new, adopted mother who was making all of this possible. Even though it was a bit of a run, Silvia was still crying when she reached Nikita's home. Her home. Using the key that she'd been given she opened the door and collapsed on the first piece of furniture that she came across, head buried in her arms as she cried. Except just sitting there crying wasn't making it any better. What made crying better was when there was someone there to stroke her hair, kiss her forehead, offer her a cup of hot cocoa and tell her that it was okay, everything was going to be alright. Her mom had been really good at doing that. Or even better, she'd turned into a cat and cuddle up to her and - it's not going to happen. She can't do that anymore. But Nikita kinda can?
She knew that the vampire was asleep. It was the middle of the day so expecting her to be anywhere near as awake and alert as Silvia was would've just been silly. Granted she wasn't really at the top of her thinking game but she knew better than to just assume. Still sniffling, Silvia stood back up and started for Nikita's bedroom. She'd adopted her so that meant that she could go to her for things that she'd normally go to her mother for, right? Just because she was a vampire didn't mean that she didn't know how to comfort. Silvia remembered her making her feel better after she came to her when her parents had died, she could do that now. But she still stood in front of the door for a few minutes, tears still leaking out of her eyes, before she pushed it open and peeked her head into the dark room. "Nikita?" she called, voice shaking a little. Not because she was afraid of her or anything, but because steady wasn't really working for her right then. Shuffling up to the side of the bed she reached out and poked lightly at the vampire's shoulder. "Nikita, I need you."
