You did absolutely nothing wrong
Who: Kristen and Silvia
Where: Peloe home
When: 11:00 am
Grounded. No not just grounded. Grounded for what Missy had said was as close to eternity as she could imagine without social services getting involved. Kristen was surprised that she hadn't come storming in to get rid of all her art supplies. Mobile was gone, computer's powercord had also been taken out and she no longer had access to the telly. Which okay she actually deserved. She hadn't meant for Jadyn to freak out as much as she had but her intentions definitely hadn't been anywhere near innocent. Kristen didn't want Jadyn taking up Missy's time. Didn't want to risk someone else actually mattering as much as or more than her. It'd been just them for years and what was wrong with that? Nothing. They were both happy-ish and Missy... Sighing, Kristen kicked her legs off the edge of her bed before throwing herself back on it. Deep down she knew that Misssy wasn't really as happy as she could be, but couldn't she be the typically selfish kid who wanted all the attention for a change? Everyone always said she acted so much older than she was and this time she was acting like a kid. Like a brat.
"Ugh!" Kristen exploded as she jumped off the bed and started to pace. Yeah she was grounded but Missy was as new to this as she was and hadn't set down specific boundaries. Other than the property. At least she guessed that it meant the house. And the yard. Missy hadn't told her to stay in in the house, exactly, and it wasn't like she was going anywhere else. Deciding that the yard totally didn't count as part of her grounding Kristen took herself down and out. Mitzi was quick to follow, barking happily as she raced out into the yard. Okay. There wasn't a demon there. There wouldn't be a demon there. Just because it had happened once didn't mean that it'd happen again. It wouldn't happen again. Not ever. Missy had killed that demon - Missy's mad at me. But not mad enough that she'd let anything bad happen ever. She still loved her. "She still loves me," Kristen informed Mitzi, who was chewing on a broken branch. "She does." Her voice was a little quieter, a little shaky, but she looked confident as she launched herself up to swing herself up into the lower branches of her favorite tree. Just because she was grounded didn't mean that she had to get out of shape. Not that Kristen was really capable of getting out of shape. Ran in her blood to - ah, newly tainted thought. The Peloe's were always in such good shape because they killed vampires.
Shaking her head again she blinked, dangling upside down with her legs wrapped around the branch as she caught a flash of an image of Silvia. Huh... was she coming over? This was one of the few times when Kristen felt like she'd miss having her phone even if she hardly used it. No one called the actual house anymore.
