You must be out of your mind
Who: Jadyn and Rina
Where: Aeaea
When: Later afternoon
Rina would have stayed at the church, really she would have if only so that she could spend more time near to Darklis to figure out more about her surprise cousin, but it was her first time on the mortal plane in far too long and she needed to see things. That and she wanted to get a feel for how many people in this place needed her. She sensed more than a few upon her first arrival but she knew that wandering would help with that. After all, she would have been a terrible patron angel if she allowed herself to be anywhere near satisfied with only having found one of those she was born to protect. That would also be selfish of her. She could help more than one at the same time so long as they were not too far away. So long as there were never as many as there had been back in Hadamar. 'That's the bad place, isn't it?' Trouble asked. Rina had offered to leave her with Darklis for company's sake - and because it was still odd for her to have a voice other than her own or those of the past inside of her head - but the small cat had insisted that she was supposed to stay with Rina. What a cat that fit comfortably into the palm of her hand and her pocket could do to protect her Rina had no idea, but she was not inclined to argue with something that fluffy and cute. 'The bad place. You thought it. Bad things happened.' "Yes," Rina agreed, head twitching to the side as she stopped and leaned back against the nearest building. There were not many people out and the only demon she had seen had been a legionnaire from a distance. She was glad that it stayed away. She was very much not in the mood to have to kill anything, even something that no doubt deserved it a hundred times over.
'What was it?' Rina decided it was better to not answer, to not even think of it, her hands trembling slightly. 'Fine. There are people in that building you're against.' Sure enough, once Rina was able to close off her line of thought and turn around, she found that the cat was right. Stepping back a few feet she tilted her head up to find the name of the place. Aeaea. Oh, a magic shop! She was going to need to make use of that in the future, though hopefully only for protection spells and the healing ones she liked to try with those that she tried her best to help. Tucking a loose piece of hair back she went over to the door and pushed it open, stepping in slowly just so that she did not startle any of the people inside. She knew that she might have been startled if someone had suddenly appeared when there were demons in the area. Even if she would be extremely offended should anyone ever confuse her for one of those things. Did she not just look too good to be a demon? And yes, she thought 'too good' included being better than them. Angels just naturally were, that was no fault of hers.
Nodding at the people near her, Rina offered her best smile as she moved further into the shop. Perhaps a minute after she stepped inside she caught sight of something closed off by what looked like fabric and beads. But that was not what caught her attention or her eye; no it was the person behind that curtain. A tugging feeling settled over her and Rina stepped towards and through the curtain without really pausing to consider whether or not this would count as some sort of invasion of privacy. If it did then she would apologize after she got a closer look at the dark-haired woman who had caught her interest so firmly. 'One of yours,' Trouble confirmed, sensing and sorting out the thoughts in Rina's head faster than she was able to. Oh, maybe that was what she was going to be good for? "Hello," Rina said after she just stood there for a moment, glancing around the room to maybe make it at least seem like she had not come barging in just because of that woman. Even though she had. Whoever this was, she was one of hers even more than Darklis. Or just in different ways. "Sorry if I'm intruding I just... wanted to look around." Which was, in fact, true. Studying one of the people under her care counted as looking around.
