So guys, I’m out for the next couple of hours because as you may have heard me complain – there’s no AC at the house I’m staying at. I decided however, a meme was in order. This is a meme, I’ve actually put away and been meaning to do for awhile – but didn’t have a good time or felt weird about it.

Considering the recent emails, news, and talking, I decided it was time.

First off, I want to say Bellum has completely changed RP for me. Before, roleplay meant which character was fun to play or play off of. I never got a chance to work on real character development and growth until I came to Bellum. Frankly, I didn’t know it existed in the RP world. Bellum has taught me that things can actually happen to your characters – they can change as time goes on and consequences do matter. Hell, I’ve honestly worried about my characters dying in this game. It’s insane considering how I’m used to it.

This game has raised my expectations and (unfortunately?) my standards. I can honestly say that everyone here is a great writer, with amazing ideas and thought out characters. I’ve honestly never experienced that so consistently across the board before. It tends to leave me in awe and want to head to my corner and just watch. I’m consistently amazed by the fact that I’m a part of this game and that I’m up to the standards.

Since December, when I stalked and finally joined with the now-dead Fern, I’ve been a part of an amazing community that’s given me an experience like no other. Before I dissolve into sap and this gets cheesy – let me just say thank you and you all rock.

Now for the cheesiness (aka meme-time). This is simply put, a Love Meme. Reply below with your characters in a comment and for this meme, include past ones as well. Go reply to peoples comments next, saying nice things. Since emailing everyone and trying to make plans, there’s been plenty of realizations over missed opportunities, unstated love and stalking of characters or events, and so on. Here’s your chance to do it.

LeeshaLeeshaLeesha! I love you! I do! But let me count the ways! I love Hannah and Bran and it's a pity I didn't do anything with either of them but I was hogging your other two and you know how worried I was about hogging your time. Cole I've adored, right from the start, long before Stefan ever made it into my headspace. I've loved every tiny bit of interaction between him and Stefan. They're always on the verge of making peace, or breaking each other's noses, and how fantastic is that?

And then there's Vlad. Pardon my sigh. I remember being so nervous when you first came! His profile was amazing, your writing fantastic, and I was eager to play but also SO intimated. Even if they weren't together, they still had all these avenues for interaction, they were still Dracula and Mina so there would always be some pull between them. What if you and I had no chemistry at all? What if they absolutely hated each other? It could have gone a million different ways and when I emailed you at the start we both happily and readily agreed simply to see how things played out. No pressure, no planning, just letting those two do what they would and go where they pleased. And look what they've become! V&H were incredibly organic from the get go and I think that makes their relationship all the more real and lovely. Nothing was ever forced or rushed at all. Despite everything they had working against them, they managed to make it work and get to the place they are today. In short, I love them so. I'm sad to see them go! And Helena aside, I love Vlad. He's amazing (I'm running out of ways to say this!), so complex, so multifaceted and I have truly enjoyed watching his development over the course of the game. He's ruthless but not heartless. He's strong but still subtle. He could have easily been so simple, so one sided, just a monster disguised as a man, but Vlad is so much more and you've done truly wonderful job of showcasing that.

That's a lot of text to simply say, you're amazing. I've absolutely loved (lovedlovedlovedloved) every single second rping with you. I don't think I can tell you this enough.
