Came across this article from The Village Voice today and thought some of you might find it interesting. Yet more evidence that we are not alone in our general proclivities, and various opinions about the reasons behind them. Makes me want to tell those women about B/J! ;)

Sorry this is late... I was at my nephew's birthday party. They had a jumpy house and a slide. I mean.... talk about the antithesis of Dyke Night. ;)
One of the places where I work is a big company that's half dykes and half gay men. And all the dykes love Brian Kinney and wake up every morning and ask themselves, "What would Brian Kinney do?" (I won't tell you what the men think, other than that the phrases "bad role model for the gay community" and "Peter Pan" come up a lot. Pffft.)
So tonight is a special Brian Kinney edition of Dyke Night! This is a playlist of songs from QAF that make me think of Brian. I'd love to know what songs remind you of Brian, and why. But first... here's mine:
Now please, I beg of you.... your Brian songs!

It's Friday again, for which I can only murmur a devout "hallelujah!" before saying OMG THAT MEANS IT'S DYKE NIGHT!
This is a playlist of the first ten songs randomly generated from shuffling my complete Queer as Folk playlist.
There may even be songs on here that I can't stand, so don't judge my musical taste by this. It's completely random.
Okay, lesbian fangirls and our friends... your turn! What QAF songs are on your playlists?

Every Friday is Dyke Night here in les_bj_anic (hint hint to all the icon makers)!
When I was in New York with intensefemme, triciaqaf, paddies, and flamencanyc, we went dancing at Henrietta Hudson Bar & Girl, and they played four QAF songs plus a remix of "Let the Sunshine In." We decided at that moment that we needed vids made to every single song with the word "sunshine" in it, ever. (hint hint to all the vidders.)
It was the most QAF-esque Dyke Night ever!
Until now.
I showed you mine. Now show me yours! What's the soundtrack playing while you watch Brian and Justin "dancing" at your own ultimate Dyke Night?
