It was too much to keep to herself. Still clutching both the box and Mr. Ibis' last note, Effie almost ran down the stairs, heading for the hotel lounge. Hoping that someone would be there that she could talk to.

	Hattie settled back into a corner of the sofa and thought about Delphina. "Well, she's lovely to look at. I know little about race and ancestry, but she looks very exotic to me.
