Fred, gaze covered by the most recent Quibbler, had made his way out to the landing. He placed himself down on a log to read. He was partially covered with leaves, the picture place if he was planning to spy on someone.

Mostly, he just didn't want anyone finding him. Half the school had seemed depressed and ball crazy lately. Truth be told, Fred didn't care much about the dance. He showed interest because it was important to Alyssa.

"You do have a bit of a girlish figure," she muttered back. She could be sarcastic, too. "And yes, that is what I'm saying. Boys were declaring their love for random girls everywhere. Slytherin's and Hufflepuffs, 7th years and fifth years..it was completely odd, and random and there was singing everywhere." She wasn't going to mention the fact that she thought it was weird that Oliver had asked her to the dance as well.

"I wasn't dating Alyssa then, but you're right. She wouldn't be happy," Fred sighed, "but I'm not sure I make her that happy anyway. I guess it was your eyes though. I thought that your eyes were beautiful even before the potion or whatever is going through my body now." He stood to his feet and dusted off his pants. "I guess I should let you finish your smoke in peace. Just don't tell Lyssa what happened tonight." He made his way over to Calli and kissed her on the cheek. He whispered in her ear, "And you really should smile more often." Then he picked up his Quibbler and started walking away.

Alyssa not being happy would have been an understatement. She didn't really like Callidora as it was. And then he went on about her eyes. "I wont tell her," she muttered quietly, looking down at the ground as he whispered to her. She felt her face flush, and then she looked away as he walked away. She wasn't going to stop him. Fred and his love potion, with her alone at the Landing? That would have been a bad combination. And she didn't like him like that. He was annoying, had a girlfriend...although he was sometimes nice to her. She didn't know how she felt when it came to boys, she felt very odd when it came to dating.

	Fred stopped for a moment and looked back at Calli, "Maybe one of these days we'll be able to have a conversation without me wanting to snog you. Next time, I'll try to find out exactly what I have to do to see you smile." With a wink, he was gone. (Reply to this) (Parent)
