Shane was glad to be back in the castle. The Winter Break had been fun, but he missed seeing his friends and most of all, he missed Samantha. Instead of sitting in his usual spot, he decided to stand near the window. Looking down, he observed the castle grounds, empty. It all looked so peaceful. A smile wiped across his face at the thought of seeing Sam again. He wanted to sweep her up in his arms and not let go. Before they knew it, his last year would be over and they would hardly see each other. He didn't like that sort of thinking, so he pushed it far back into his mind. The Quidditch people would come to interview him soon and everyone knew what happened when he got nervous.

"I know, I just..." he paused to put his thoughts into words, "I don't want to get my hopes up. It would be my luck to actually look forward to something like this and get crushed." Just then did he realize actually how negative he sounded. "But yes, it is very exciting." Her optimism was one of his favorite qualities.

"Oh that's ok," he said to her apologizing. "My family is crazy anyway," he stated with a soft laugh. "I'm sure he understands. Don't feel bad." Shane's lips met hers again. He couldn't resist. But this time it was a longer kiss.

She wanted to tell him to stop being silly, she wanted to say that she knew that he would get picked, if not for Bulgaria, she knew he was a great player, a great team will want him.

Samantha wanted to say all that but his kiss made her forget. Her mind was completely blank now, he had a habit of having that effect on her. Her lips parted slightly to deepen the kiss, her head tilting, her free hand running through his hair.

	Shane's fingers tangled into her silky hair. He pulled her close to him. His lips drifted from hers to kiss her jaw line. It was something new. His heart beat began to quicken in speed, as it always did when them moment suddenly turned intense. She would pull away soon, he knew that and he wouldn't mind. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Her thumb brushed against Shane's cheek as a small smile formed on her face as he kissed her jaw line. Tilting her head, she returned the kiss on his lips, then a small kiss on his cheek, to his jaw line and finally at his neck. "I've really missed you." Was all she could mumble.
