Avalon's world was crushed. There was no other way to say it. The woman she had placed on a pedestal, the woman she saw as her role model, her mother, turned out to be a bigger liar than her father. Didn't her mother have any idea how badly she had hurt Avalon by keeping a secret that big? Pretending to be the victim when she was as guilty as her father? Avalon felt completely empty inside, like she had nothing left.

She leaned her head back against the cold stone wall, sniffling and feeling how more tears rolled down her cheeks. She knew she looked like a mess, with her eyes all puffy and probably all the mascara smudged; but for once in her life, she honestly didn't care. The person she admired the most had ruined her life, her makeup was the last thing on her mind.

The point of family was to be there when they really needed it. Zara wasn't about to let her fall without anyone around to catch her. That just wasn't part of who she was. Perhaps spending time with people outside of there family had made her a bit of a nicer person.

She held her sister as she cried her fingers running through her sisters hair trying to calm her down slightly.

"I don't think Tony saw it coming either." She admitted with a shrug. What hurt Zara the most was that her siblings were hurt, she didn't care about her parents not being together. Oddly enough Zara liked the idea. "You're not stupid, you didn't want to see it..." She said softly. "But that doesn't make you stupid at all. If I got along well with either of them I wouldn't have wanted to see it either." She admitted with a smirk.

That's was one of the differences betwee Zara and Avalon. Even if they were family, Avalon wouldn't have rushed so fast to her sister's side. Or maybe she would, but it'd be something completely expontaneous and out of herself. Her usual way of thinking didn't include being nice to the black sheep of the family. But hopefully that way of thinking would change for the better now.

Her words caused Avalon to smile faintly for a moment, only to sigh and feel how a sad expression took over her features again. "What are we going to do now?" She asked disconsolately, taking her sister's hand in hers and pulling her down with her to sit on the floor.

Zara sat down next to her sister without thinking much about it. "We are going to make sure Tony is okay, Ian knows the truth and has the option to figure out where he wants to go. He's young, but he is smart." She said softly.

"We'll make sure that our parents can find some sort of happiness after all of this, and you and I are going to be just fine. You're just about done with school and you'll be starting life." She said softly to her sister. Zara had thought through steps in her head about how to do all of this. "Father wont let you just vanish from his life. Even if you're angry at him, I think he really does care more about us for who we are." She wasn't really sure about what she was saying, but hey it couldn't hurt right?

"And, we have a chance to really figure out what we want out of life regardless of what our parents want for us."

Once her sister was sitting beside her, Avalon rested her head on he shoulder and sighed, still holding Zara's hand in hers. Avalon had never been very affectionate, but it was true that whenver she felt bad, she did seek for some affection; hence why she was close ot her sister. It was a side not many got to see.

"Yeah. He'll know what's the best for him." Which hopefully wouldn't be with their mother and a man that he didn't know. He should stay with their father, even if he wasn't his biological father. She couldn't help but chuckle softly at how well Zara had everything planned. "You've been thinking about this a lot, haven't you?" It made feel less worried to know that at least someone had thought of what they could do and weren't completely lost.

Zara wasn't really the type of person to handle contact well, but it was her sister and she clearly needed the comfort. She wasn't going to go anywhere. Her family was important to her, well her siblings were even if they didn't like her, she still wanted the best for them.

She nodded. "He will, and if that is with Mother, I'm sure she'll talk care of him well." She said with a soft smile.

"Of course I have." She laughed slightly. It was true, Zara had been thinking a lot about it planning things out, trying to figure out what would be best for her family. In Zara's mind it was making sure her father was happy, if he was happy he was more likely to pay attention to his children. He was more likely to realize what Avalon and Tony really needed.. Not to mention what Jacob needed.

Avalon snorted softly at that comment. After what she had done to her, Avalon doubted her mother could care for anyone but herself. She probably didn't even love Ian's father, but since she didn't have her husband now she would run to him for comfort... Merlin, how could she ever think that woman deserved her admiration?!

She closed her eyes for a few seconds, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. She was still crying and sobbing, but it wasn't as bas as before. Having someone there was helping her to relax. "Zara..." she began to say, not very sure how to continue, though. She was feeling things she hadn't felt for her sister in... like ever. Things good sisters were supposed to feel for each other since the beginning. "I know I've been a bitch to you since we were kids... but... I'm glad you're here now... and I'm sorry for behaving like that." An honest and genuine apology from Avalon. That didn't happen very often.

Zara smiled softly at her sister. She was a little bit shocked to her hear sister say something like that. She wrapped her arm around her hugging her once more. Who would have thought that she'd end up actually hugging people more after her families life got messed up... She felt like it was part of her duty to really take care of all of her siblings.

"It's okay. You're my sister. I'm always here for you." She said softly. Zara meant it too, no matter what she was there for her sister.

Avalon hugged Zara back tightly, feeling how more tears rolled down her cheeks silently. She wiped them away and smiled at her sister. "Thank you." She said softly. "You're a really good sister." Avalon couldn't bring herself to say she loved her, even if she did. It wasn't in here genes. But she would do it, maybe later than sooner, but she would.

In some ways, Zara was way more mature than Avalon. In much more ways. Avalon had always been under the protection of her mother and whever she had a problem, she ran to her instead of dealing with the problem herself. She probably would never tell her, but Avalon liked that about her sister. She was stronger than her.

Zara wasn't going to say what came to mind, after all she figured the last thing she needed was to tell Avalon that she was right, Zara was a good sister. She happened to be a good person in general. She was lucky she didn't really have anyone to turn to inside the family to help her with her problems.

"Come on. You can't hide in here forever. Besides you're still a Flint." She said with a smile. She didn't want her sister to be hiding away crying, her sister was better than that!

"Hidding is good sometimes." She said, chuckling in a sad tone. "I can't go out now, I look horrible." All her make up was ruined and her eyes were probably red and puffy and she just looked like a mess. She wiped the tears and combed her hair with her fingers, pulling it up in a messy ponytail.

"I just don't want to see anyone, Zara. I feel bad enough knowing that everyone knows about Dad and Miss Bell. And now this? How am I supoosed to keep my good reputation is my family is ruining it?"

"Not forever." Zara said with a soft smile. She rolled her eyes with a smile, her sister looking bad just didn't really go together. Zara was often jealous that her sister always managed to look stunning no matter what she did. Zara on the other hand didn't really.

"Your reputation isn't based on who or what your family is like. Your reputation is for who you are, and honestly I think you'll have a better reputation than either of our parents ever did or will." She said softly, although she had to admit she cringed slightly at the thought of Miss Bell and their father. Her mind went to Tony for a moment, worrying about Tony was rather easy to do.
