WHO: Emily Creevey & James Potter.
WHAT: Planning for the dance ;] And probably other things.
WHERE: Outside by the lake.
WHEN: Wednesday, around 3, after 3rd block, when Emily has Herbology.
WHY: Because they're awesome and sexy.
RATING: TBD but I'm gonna assume more than R ;]
STATUS: In progress and closed to only these two!

Emily could hardly think throughout the entirety of her Herbology class. Apparently Professor Longbottom had noticed it, because she had nearly gotten her finger chopped off by one of the plants. She only giggled and soaked it off, not worrying about it. All her mind was on was after class, by the lake, with James Potter. "Planning" for their costumes for the Halloween Ball.

The sound of the bell filled Emily's ears, and she happily sprang up from her seat. She had her usual Hufflepuff school uniform on, and a big smile, her straight blonde hair bouncing a bit as she headed out of the green houses with Bryn. They were both giggling and whispering, giddy for what Emily was going to go do. As far as Emily was concerned, she got the best deal out of all the girls. Going to the ball with the charming, and dashingly handsome James Potter? She was more excited than she had been the first time Miklos Krum invited her to his dormitory.

Parting from her friends, Emily headed towards the Lake, in the opposite direction from the school. It was cool, but not very cold; she was comfortable in her skirt and sweater. Her bag was slung over her shoulder, holding her books and the catalougs that her mother had sent a few weeks ago in an Owl.

Stopping by the lake, she looked around. No James. Placing her bag on the grass, she sat down slowly, smoothing her hands over her skirt as she waited.

Oh, Harry and Ginny definitely hadn't been thrilled with his grades, but he'd gotten out of trouble easily. After all, his parents were just happy that he, Albus and Lily didn't have to face any of the crazy things they did in school. In comparison to Harry's seventh year, James not taking a few NEWT level courses because his OWLs were so low wasn't nearly as bad as it could've been.

Though his family had quite a few connections to the Muggle world, James had never really gotten too deeply into the movie stuff. So while he knew vaguely who Johnny Depp was, he was quite confused as to how exactly he compared to him. He'd definitely heard the comparison before.

And just as James Potter could do all of that, Emily Creevey had the effect of almost completely shutting off any restraint he had within him as he faught with the urge to give into instinct and just take her then and there. If they had been anywhere else, he probably wouldn't have contained himself. As it was, though, sex out by the lake in the middle of the afternoon seemed like far to large of a risk to take. Pity.

Emily just didn't plan on doing anything that required her to get good O.W.L.S and N.E.W.T scores. She was going to do something with people and entertainment and having a good time. Or at least, she was thinking about that. Perhaps working in a pub or becoming a movie start. Could she specialize in dating boys?

Emily continued to kiss James, her mouth tingling. It took every bit of self control she had in her tall, thin body not to jump right on him and ride him like a unicorn. Placing her hands on either side of his face, she played with his lips a bit, taking them between her teeth gently and sucking on his lower lip as she kissed him. She almost forgot where she was, for a second. She opened her eyes for only a moment, to make sure they weren't being watched or anyone was coming. She didn't have the best track record this year when it came to being with a boy. Getting caught four times in two months wasn't exactly something that would make her parents happy.

James generally chose not to think too terribly often on the future because the subject made him uneasy. Hearing all of his classmates talk about their plans after school just made it all the more apparent that he had probably messed up his chances for a good career by not trying in school. With the head Auror for a father and head sports writer for a mother, he had rather large shoes to fill. And, to be perfectly honest, the idea of being an Auror himself rather bored him, though he knew it was practically his destiny to become one. He wanted to travel and roam about all over the world. And he wanted to do so without someone breathing down his neck.

As the same tingling sensation filtered through him as well, he idly wondered why he hadn't ever thought to do this before. Of course, he'd always found Emily attractive and she'd definitely always been on his 'to-do' list. So why hadn't he gone after her like this before? It didn't make any sense. Not that it mattered now, though. Both his growing desire to see just what she was capable of and the unfortunate nuisance of needing to breathe forced him to decide it was time to break away. However, his lips protested the whole way, breaking the intensity slowly with increasingly softer kisses until he was able to separate them from hers. Once they no longer touched hers, they curled into a smile and his eyebrows rose. "I anticipate us getting removed from the dance early for indecency," he commented. "Though it might be a good idea to let it happen intentionally..."

Emily's mind raced as she continued to kiss James, her fingers snaking to tangle gently in his long locks. She had always had her eye on James, even when they were younger. They shared cousins, but thankfully were not related. Her mother always used to talk about how she had been saved in the lake when she was merely a first year at Beauxbatons by the great Harry Potter. Of course, she hyped up the story a bit, but James had gotten a bit of a mysteriously sexy aura around him after that. Son of a hero. A very good looking son of a hero at that. The Creevey's had a thing about fame, and they definitely were big fans of Harry. It stemmed back to her father and her late Uncle when they were in Hogwarts.

And now she was, snogging the son of her fathers former obsession. Funny how small worlds were? She reluctantly pulled away when he did, her lips still begging to be on his as his hard, deep kisses turned to soft, quick ones. Finally, their faces were parted, and she was able to breath. "It'll be a blood miracle if we make it to the dance at all," she said after she had opened her eyes and grinned. "But what the fun in my costume and having the best looking date at the ball if I can't go show it all off?"

There had definitely always been quite a connection between the Creeveys and the Potters, for his father had spoken of hers and her uncle quite a bit in the past. His father had never specifically said too much about her mother or his own Aunt Fleur, but his Uncle Ron had let a few things slip here and there about them both being terribly beautiful. James had met Emily's mother before, of course, but it had been far too long ago for him to have really taken too much notice. However, he knew for a fact that she had to be something extraordinary to have a daughter as lovely as Emily.

It most certainly was ironic and, somewhere in the back of his mind, James couldn't help but wonder what sort of reaction he'd get from his family if they knew he was kissing her. He had a feeling his parents would jump on the idea, for they hadn't ever really been all that happy with his previous choices in girls, and plan the wedding immediately. Her comment caused him to laugh. "We'll just have to go for a little while then, long enough for the girls to gossip and the guys to drool, then we'll go find a quiet spot to make infinitely less quiet," he responded, grinning.

Emily prided herself on being as beautiful as she was because it ran in the family. Sure, the Creevey side of her wasn't bad looking, but the Delacour's were extraordinarily beautiful. Part Veela, in fact. Of course, that was a very small part, since her mothers grandmother was the one that was part, it it still ran in her blood. Tall, pale skin, big eyes, beautiful long blonde hair. It was evident in her mother and her Aunt Fleur, as well as her and her sister Victoria, and her cousins Victoire and Dominique. There was no doubting that the Delacour women were beautiful.

So if the family were to have found out just what interest James Potter had taken in Emily, they would have probably thrown up the banners and flags and celebrated. Well, except for her brothers. Especially Dylan, whom she still wasn't speaking to. But her mother had always talked about how she had a bit of a crush on Harry Potter when she was little, and she was sure that her late Uncle Colin was very excited up in Heaven...after he got past the fact that the niece he never met was snogging anyone. Giggling, she ran her fingers through her hair. "I think that sounds like a fabulous plan."

James, on the other hand, came from a family of the more intriguing sort of beauty. True, there had been plenty of people who thought his father was handsome in school, but Harry had a dorky sort of attraction. And Ginny, though she'd certainly matured into a beautiful woman, was covered in freckles and a bit of a tomboy in school. James simply figured it was a mix of the very best features of them both that made him as attractive as he was, and he certainly couldn't complain.

Considering that his family (his Grandmother Molly especially) was thoroughly convinced that James would be the type to find some mail-order bride somewhere who said nothing but 'Yes sir', they would have thrown a party. Ever since the summer before his 6th year when his father walked in on him and a Muggle girl, they'd all assumed the worst of him as far as women were concerned. Which meant that they'd been trying to set him up with all sorts of good girls with high morals ever since. James wasn't a huge fan of the prude-ish shy-types either, so it had been hell. Besides, girls like Emily were much more fun. The bell for dinner broke him from his thoughts and he grinned once more. "Let me escort you to dinner and we'll spark the jealousy and the gossip."

Emily was far from a girl with morals. Her family was a bit too crazy and large to really have been strict on their eldest daughter. By the time the twins came around, their oldest, Colin, was three, and then Emily had been a handful.. And one after the other, another child was born. Sometimes Dennis worried about his daughter, and she knew damn well that Dylan worried about her--he made it quite clear--but Gabriel was happy to let her beautiful daughter do what she wanted. She wasn't stupid after all. She just wanted to have fun.

Sitting up, Emily shook her hair out. "That sounds brilliant," she said with a smile. "I'd love to show you off. And we'll let this be our little secret for now." Grinning, she grabbed her magazine and stuffed it in her bag. "After all, it won't be for long."

It wasn't so much that his parents weren't strict in their upbringing, for Ginny made certain that Harry's plan to let his children do whatever they pleased didn't succeed too much, but more that James was simply good at getting out of trouble. He always had been, a skill that had helped him more than once in school. For example, though he couldn't say for certain that Professor Applebee liked him, it was obvious that she overlooked much more of his antics than she did those of some of his classmates. He was charming, and often rewarded for that gift.

He stood, grabbing his book from the ground, and reached his hand down to help her up, that grin staying on his face. "That sounds good to me. I wouldn't want the boys all trying to imagine what you'll look like in that outfit. That's something that I would very much like to keep to myself for as long as I can."
