Guinness St. James and Sage Goyle
Who: Guinness St. James and Sage Goyle
What: Getting stuck.
where: By the Great Hall
When: After dinner; October 23rd 2022
Why: Because Guinness needs some interaction!
Rating: TBA
Status: Incomplete

Walking out of the Great Hall with a few books in hand, and a few other random pieces of parchment, well really notebook paper that her mother wrote a letter on. Guinness was a bit in a distant mood, she wasn't paying attention to where she was going, or really what she was doing. A sad expression was stuck on her face as she turned to head up a set of stairs, bad idea. She was lost in thought and clearly wasn't paying attention.

"Ahhhh." Was all that was heard from her as her books and parchments went flying all over the place, and her left leg was stuck in the third step up. The expression was pained, scared and to say the least nervous. She tried taking a deep breath before trying her best to get up, but she couldn't she was stuck, and the last thing she wanted was someone to come and see her stuck. So she just kept trying to get herself out as fast as she could… Even though she knew it was pointless to try…

Guinness should have known that he'd go for magic, a weak idiotic pureblodoed wizard wouldn't have the guts to fight upfront. She had her wand out, she jumped to the side, but was still unfortunately hit, she managed to get out part of "Proteg-" and she was locked in the damn binding curse. She fell backwards hitting her head on the stairs, she didn't have much of a choice. It figured that it would end this way, Guinness didn't have much luck.

She should have known better than to think such a weak Slytherin would actually fight back with fists rather than magic. At least she learned her lesson. She didn't feel much as she slid down the stars she couldn't do much, and she could feel the pain. She wouldn't be surprised if she were bleeding. All Guinness knew was that she'd have to get him back, and she would, she had no doubt in her mind she'd find away to get him back even if it got her into trouble. She'd hit him with a damn bludger if she had to. Hey, they sometimes went into the stands.

Sage would be able to take her in a fist fight if he had wanted to, his brother and he got into fights a lot so he knew how to fight. It was a matter of a wand was easier and it would be easier on his face. He watched as she slid down the stairs and rolled his eyes, stopping after a little bit, rubbing his mouth seeing blood on his fingers and he growled. "Word of caution, don't attack someone who's better with a wand than you are," he said moving to stop her before she slid down anymore.

He moved and crouched down next to her, watching her dispassionately before noticing her books. "Those burn don't they?" he asked innocently.

She didn't listen to a thing she said, if she could have smirked she would have. This was now war, she would get him back for it. She didn't give to shits what he had to say, or what he thought. He could think he was better than her, but she wouldn't let this go. She still couldn't do anything, she couldn't move, and she could feel some of the pain, not all of it yet though.

She caught the books burning part, and if touched a few of them she'd have a fit, she'd probably end up angry enough to loose control, but instead she took a deep breath and merely looked at him. She wouldn't look away, she wouldn't give him that sort of satisfaction.

"Alright, so this is how it's going to go," Sage said softly still looking down at her. "I'm going to do the project and I am going to turn it in, with your help if you want the credit, without if you don't," he said tapping his finger against his chin absently as he continued to watch her.

He stood up suddenly and brushed his pants on. "And becuase I'm a nice person I'm not going to burn your books, nor am I going to take your journal and read everything," he said with a smile. "But I am going to leave you here and if you even think about getting me in trouble well lets just not dwell on those sorts of things," Sage continued before waving his hand. "Library, Thursday, seven."

Guinness knew perfectly well that he wouldn't pass if they didn't work together as that was part of it. If the professor found out they didn't work together on it they'd both fail, so really it was in both of there best interests to work together. Besides, she didn't need to get him in trouble. She wouldn't really be able to get him back if she got him in trouble.

Besides she wasn't scared of him. She wasn't afraid of what he could do to her. She just looked at him still, she couldn't do anything else but she had no expression in her eyes. She kept her thoughts calm, it wasn't the end, but why not let him believe that it was.
