WHO. Everyone~!
WHAT. P AR TAY.
WHERE. Room of Requirement.
WHEN. Backdated to Friday. Night time.
RATING. TBA. Nothing too high though, alright?
STATUS. Open~

The Room of Requirements was a blessing. Nymphadora had spent days trying to locate the infamous room, searching the halls for what seemed like the only ideal place in the castle where one can have an event such as the one she'd been planning for her sibling. She'd taken note of a few abandoned duelling rooms and old libraries, just in case her search came out unfruitful. But at the very last second, the toom finally showed itself to her.

It was better than the stories his father had told her once about it. Not only did Dora not need to decorate the room herself, but it seemed the food was taken care of, too. As if the Castle was rejoicing for their return, and wanted them to celebrate coming back the proper way. Dora was only too eager to oblige.

The room was dark but for the lit candles with different colored flames of red purple and deep orange scattered about the room, gently illuminating the small space. Modest sitting areas were scattered about the area, a long table with food and drinks stood on both sides of the room. The center of the room was of course reserved for dancing, with a small stage and operational DJ booth. It was perfect, Dora thought as her eyes scanned the room.

By nightfall, it was time to party.

A party. Jackson normally shied away from them, opting to hang out in the shadows while trying not to make a fuss or be noticed, but this party was under completely different circumstances. You see, this was a party was a birthday party, and he planned on living it up. Or well, as much as he could, anyways. He wasn't exactly the 'party boy' type, after all.

Even though he planned on having fun and enjoying himself at the party, he still somehow managed to find himself gravitating towards the back of the room, watching everyone else with a smile on their faces. It did seem like they were having fun, after all. And that was the important thing.

Dora was excited! A lot of people had already filed inside the room, having drinks and dancing. She could tell this party was going to be a success already and she's all too glad for it. She did put a bit of effort in putting it together after all.

But amidst all the high from the music and alcohol, something was missing. It had been a while since she last saw Jack, even spoke to him. She wondered if he'd come at all. So she set off on a litle hunt, walking around the massive room to search for Jackson. He couldn't be avoiding her could he?

A little detour to the back room led her to discover that it was currently occipied by the very person she was looking for. He was looking out into the room, quiet as he always was. Slowly, she approached him and when he was right behind him, she reached around him to cover his eyes with her hands. She propped her chin on his shoulder, standing on her tippy toes. "Guess who?" then she coughed and disguised her voice. "I mean... guess who..."

Jackson would have been pleased to just stand there the rest of the night, watching all of his friends and their friends and their friends having fun. The music was good and everyone was dancing and having a fantastic time, just like it should be when it came to a party. He was glad that he'd come, not like he'd miss it. Not for the world. This was a special day for two of his favorite girls in the world.

And one in particular.

He'd not seen Dora in a little while, and it wasn't because of avoiding her or anything like that, he'd just not been able to get much time with holidays and then coming back to only be smacked in the face with studying and things like that. And he missed her, he wasn't going to lie. He missed seeing her face, hearing her laugh....basically everything about her. He simply missed Dora.

When he felt the hands slip over his eyes and heard the voice that he'd been missing, a smile crept onto his face and he couldn't help but laugh a small laugh. That small laugh grew louder when she changed her voice. "Um, let me see.....it isn't father Christmas, right?"

"No." Dora continued in her disguised serious voice, her brows drawing together and her lips pouting in the slightest as he did so. "You're too late for Christmas, boy. Keep up!" She then rested her head against the back of his, subtly taking in the familiar scent of him, a scent she'd missed quite a lot in the days when he wouldn't even graze her with his presence. This time, she spoke in a tone that was hers. "Come on. Guess." she said faintly, closing her eyes. "And get it right this time..."

When the 'voice' said that he was too late for Christmas, he laughed again. Father Christmas had just been the first outlandish name to come to his mind when Dora had covered his eyes and told him to guess. However, when she started using her real voice and rested her head against the back of his, he smiled and leaned into her. "Well, I do believe it's one of my favorite people in the world. Could it be Dora?"

Dora smiled when he finally guessed it right. "If you'd insisted I was a man, I would be very distrubed." she said, finally releasing his eyes and turned him around so he could face her. "I'm glad you came." she said, honest with this admission. It truly wouldn't have been the same if he didn't show up, in fact she would be a little hurt. "I was beginning to think you'd forgotten I exist..." Probably a bit melodramatic, but it's been so long since she heard word from him that the prospect of it seemed possible to her. "You didn't, did you?"

"A man wouldn't have such nice, gentle hands," he said very matter-of-factly, not even thinking about how his words might sound or come off. It was simply the truth, Dora had nice hands, hands that couldn't belong to a man. They were too delicate and soft for that. "Of course I came," he said, a little confused as to why she would say that. "I wouldn't miss this party for anything in the world," he said. However, when she asked him if he'd forgotten she existed, his stomach did a few back flips and his heart felt a swift pang of pain. "No! Of course not. You're the most unforgettable and wonderful person I know!"

"I don't... know how to take that." Dora admitted with a laugh, glancing breifly at her hands before they returned to Jackson. It truly was a welcome sight to see his kind face, after all the time she had to be without him. Since the day Jackson admitted to her his feelings, Dora gradually found herself gravitating towards him, and more and more she thought of him in an entirely different light that she did before. As someone more than just a friend...

It was perhaps why it had hurt her so to be left hanging. To suddenly not see him and not talk to him. At one point she'd even began to think he was avoiding her, despite how wonderful the times she spent with him were to her.

Now, however as she looked into his eyes, he saw nothing but sincerity and how easily could she make him feel as if he hadn't meant to hurt her. Dora smiled a sad smile and looked down, pocketing her hands in her mini skirt. "So then... where were you, Jackie?" she asked.

"Sorry," he said, not sure if he should apologize or just not say anything. It was the truth, though. She did have very nice hands. It was weird that he noticed the little things like that, but it being weird didn't stop it from happening, because more and more he found himself noticing all the small things about Dora, from the way she laughed to the way she walked. He couldn't help it. He wasn't sure if that made him odd or made him a freak, but it was still there. He just....liked knowing those things about her. He enjoyed her every quirk.

And he hadn't meant to leave her hanging. That was the very last thing he wanted to do. He didn't want to hurt her, or make her sad or upset. He never wanted to do anything but make her happy, because that was what Dora deserved. Happiness, she deserved all the happiness in the world and he wanted to try his best to make sure that he gave it to her.

When she asked what was up with him, he shuffled his feet a little bit and looked her directly in the eyes. "It's just that....well, we don't have much time left here. So I've been studying a lot," he said, taking a deep breath. "I"m afraid that I'm not going to get high enough marks to do, well, anything. And that's another thing, I don't know what it IS I want to do...so it's a little scary, and I've been trying to figure it all out, and it's just not working. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to seem antisocial or anything, I just..." he put his hands up, "haven't had any idea about what direction I should follow."

Dora quietly listened as Jackson started to relate the struggle he has had to go through since the start of term. It pained her to see the confusion on his face, the once pleasant expression now marred with the hurt just emanating from him. And here she was selfish enough to only think about her!

Taking his hands, Dora laced their fingers together and pulled him closer to her to place a kiss on his cheek. She didn't pull back immeditely, simply resting her cheek agains his. "I'm sorry." she told him. "I was just afraid you'd stopped... wanting to pend time with me..." she told him honestly. "I didn't stop to think that maybe you're dealing with something this serious. I shoudl have. I'm sorry. I really am..." she closed her eyes. "But you could have said something? Told me what you were going through. You now we're already passed all judgement..."

When she placed the kiss on his cheek, he raised his hand, though it was linked with hers, and touched the spot lightly. Even though it was only a small gesture, he couldn't help but feel touched and his stomach did a few flips of its own accord. She was just so caring and understanding. He smiled softly at her, sincerely touched by what she'd just done.

"No, don't be sorry. You don't have anything to be sorry about, silly." He smiled at her, brushing a stray hair that had fallen from her face. "And it's my fault. It's right. I should have mentioned something, rather than just letting it build up inside and causing you to worry, I'm the one that should be sorry, and I am." He squeezed her hand, pulling her towards him. "Do you forgive me?"

Dora stayed still when Jackson pushed back the hair from her face, wide eyes watcihing every change in his expression. She truly wish she could help ease some of that burden off his shoudlers, help him understand that though things seemed uncertain, she will always be there to help him get through it.

"Of course, I forgive you." Dora said, pouting a little. "But could I ask you something?" Even before he could let her go on, she spoke. "Come back. Please? I don't like not having you aound, Jackie..."

She was always so understanding and forgiving. Honestly, Jackson didn't know how to handle it sometimes. She was amazing, fantastic, and he didn't know what he did to deserve someone like her in his life. He really didn't deserve his good fortune. He knew it was silly to think like that, that Dora herself never thought like that, but he couldn't help it.

"Okay, good, I'm glad," he said, a weight seemingly lifting from his shoulders. But when she told him to come back, his heart sank again and he pulled her in close to him. "I'm sorry. I'm here, for good. With you by my side, everything will work out," he said, not knowing if it was okay to say such things, but feeling the need to say it anyway.

Dora has had quite a bit of time to think about his and Jackson's relationship when he was absent in the past months. Everyday, she thought of him, and everyday she wished he would come back to her. It made her realize how deeply she cared for him, how her feelings could perhaps have evolved into something more than just platonic.

It was in these moments, when we was holding her and telling her all there heartbreaking sentiments that confirmed to her Jackson's feelings and her own. She felt... elated, like a light being switched within her, and it brought a smile to her face. "I know it will." After giving him a tight sqeeze, she lifted her head so she could look at him, and without giving herself time to be afraid, close the distance between them and planted a soft kiss to his lips...

Jackson hated thinking that he made Dora worry. She was one of the most important people in his life, and it hurt him making her worry like that. It was his fault that she was worried about him. But he tried to push it out of his mind. Now wasn't the time to dwell on it. He was just going to have push past it and make sure that he didn't do it anymore.

And she was forgiving him. She was always forgiving him it seemed like. He wasn't used to being so close to someone to have them worry about him like that. It meant something, it meant something deep. And he liked the way it felt, knowing that someone cared about him that much. It was a nice feeling. "Good," he said, though the next moment he didn't know what was happening and he felt Dora's lips on his own and before he knew it, he was kissing her back.

Dora had planned to pull away from their kiss after a second, but how could she now that he was kissing her back? She could feel a slight, pleasant fluttering in her insides, and her knees growing weak at the prolong contact. But at the same time, she felt invogorated, so much so that she lifted her hands and wound them around his neck, the kiss deepening on its own as she moved her lips against his...

Jackson could now understand what people meant when they said that your mind went blank when you were kissing the one you liked and the only person you could focus on was that person. He was experiencing it now. With Dora. Kissing Dora. It was amazing and a little nerve wracking and wonderful all at the same time. He wasn't too experienced in this situation, but that didn't matter. However, he did need to breath and when he did, he pulled back, his face flushed a bright red and a nervous expression gracing his features.

When Jackson pulled away from her, Dora absently leaned in just a little to prolong the warm conact of their lips. It was only after she'd gotten through the haze that had clouded her mind that she'd seen the reaction he had. He looked away from her...

With her brows drawing together, Dora's hands started to loosen around his neck. "Did... did I do something wrong?" Had she read him wrong, she asked herself. Did she push him too far?

When she asked him if she'd done something wrong, he shook his head, wanting to make it clear to her that that wasn't the case at all. She'd done everything right, and that was why he'd reacted in the way he had, because he just wasn't used to having that type of contact. And he really liked it.

"No, you didn't do anything wrong. You did everything right...but...did I? I mean, I'm probably rubbish at this, but you did everything right. Fantastic. You're fantastic," he said, pulling her in close to him once again.

The tops of Dora's cheeks flushed at the other's compliments; she looked away for a second, giggling a little like the smitten little girl she was. Then he'd asked her about his... performance. The way he inquired it was so adorable, that she couldn't help but smile brightly at him. She Stood on her tippy toes and hugged him tightly. "You were great, silly." she said, then kissed his cheek, the spot just by his ear. "A natural. For a second there, I was afraid you didn't... like that I did that..." A nervous laugh. "Looking away from girl after something like what we'd done doesn't really send the right message..."

He was completely sincere in all of his compliments. Every single positive word he sent Dora's way he meant. She was fantastic and he was pretty sure he'd never be able to fully express just how wonderful she was. It was beyond words, really. He knew that probably would sound awkward if he said it aloud, but that was the truth. Dora was one of a kind and just fantastic, that was all there was to it. "Oh, okay, good," he said, a weight lifting off his shoulders when she reassured him. "But I did! It was one of the best experiences of my life, honestly! I'll make sure to always look at you, then. It won't be hard because I really like looking at you."

And once again, he felt as if he'd stuck his foot in his mouth.

Jackson had the strangest way of making her laugh. Even with only such simple words, she would find herself grinning and giggling. Maybe it was the completely innocent way he seemed he expressed what he felt that she found perfectly endearing. Not that she didn't like everything about him...

Her voice was reduced to a soft, almost-purr, as she lifted her head to look at him. "Then don't look away." Merlin knew she liked doing the same to him. They were face to face for a second, and one of her hands gently stroked his cheeks, eyes never averting from him as she leaned in a little to brush her nose against his. "Do you... want to join the party now?"

He'd always been taught to say what was on his mind, or rather, on his heart, so he'd always taken that and run with it. He knew not to be rude, but he also didn't have a filter. It could sometimes lead to trouble, but at times like this, well, it seemed to work in his favour.

"I won't, don't worry," he said, smiling softly at her. Just liking at her, at moments like this, made his heart soar and made him feel lighter than air. He'd forgotten they were even at a party until she mentioned joining it and he nodded slowly. "Yeah, let's do that."
