WHO. Everyone~!
WHAT. P AR TAY.
WHERE. Room of Requirement.
WHEN. Backdated to Friday. Night time.
RATING. TBA. Nothing too high though, alright?
STATUS. Open~

The Room of Requirements was a blessing. Nymphadora had spent days trying to locate the infamous room, searching the halls for what seemed like the only ideal place in the castle where one can have an event such as the one she'd been planning for her sibling. She'd taken note of a few abandoned duelling rooms and old libraries, just in case her search came out unfruitful. But at the very last second, the toom finally showed itself to her.

It was better than the stories his father had told her once about it. Not only did Dora not need to decorate the room herself, but it seemed the food was taken care of, too. As if the Castle was rejoicing for their return, and wanted them to celebrate coming back the proper way. Dora was only too eager to oblige.

The room was dark but for the lit candles with different colored flames of red purple and deep orange scattered about the room, gently illuminating the small space. Modest sitting areas were scattered about the area, a long table with food and drinks stood on both sides of the room. The center of the room was of course reserved for dancing, with a small stage and operational DJ booth. It was perfect, Dora thought as her eyes scanned the room.

By nightfall, it was time to party.

A nod. Careful hands took the bracelet in her palm and locked it in place around her slender wrist. Fingers brushed the moon charm over her skin before he released her. "It looks good." he said with much truthfulness, the thickness of the chain and the right number of charms seemed to suit her perfectly. "Looks good." he said, glad for the fact that she said she wasn't angry with him. Normally, he wouldn't have cared much if it was someone else who was mad at him, but it was Kendra. In the small span of time he'd known her, she'd evolved into something more than just someone he knew in passing. Dare he say, he cared or her in some way... "Are you sure you like it?"

Kendra couldn't help but laugh softly, despite the butterflies from the gentle caresses of his fingers. "Yes, Phoenix. I'm sure I like it." She hesitated for a moment, before stretching up to press a gentle kiss to his cheek. Light, little contacts, right? She'd been wanting to do that (and admittedly a bit more) for a while now, and she supposed after seeing he and Dominique together, she was feeling like it was a bit of a now or never sort of thing. "Thank you for coming. It means a lot."

Phoenix was thrilled to see that she'd appreciated the gift. It took a few hours of browsing through catalogs to find the piece of jewelry that stood out to him, something that fit her just right. At least his efforts did not go to waste.

However, what caught him off guard was when Kendra moved close to him, and placed a light kiss on his cheek. Her lips were warm, and it left his cooler skin burning when she pulled away. His cool gray eyes turned to her, and he allowed himself to smile for her. "You're welcome." he said. "Though I'm afraid I will not be able to take part on the festivities. It's not exactly my crowd in there, and I'm mostly certain I would not be readily welcomed..."

"I know," she said with a soft sigh. "But you should know you would have been welcomed." She would have made sure of that. "I can understand you not feeling... entirely comfortable." The thought of her going to a soiree with his elite pureblood lot wasn't exactly a comfortable one either. Her father had told her plenty of stories about pureblood affairs and most of them seemed so... dull, not that she'd ever tell him that.

Phoenix nodded when she said she understood, glad that they'd reached an impasse. No other words needed to be said, no matters left to resolve. "Then I should take my leave. Thank you for inviting me, and I regret that I can't stay longer than you'd wish me to." he said, stepping towards her and taking her hand his his. "I'm glad you understand." He placed a careful kiss to her palm, one that so quick Kendra would have missed it if she had blinked, before sharply turning and walking towards the other end of the corridor and disappeared into the darkness.
