Who: Piper and Olie Wood
What: Being siblings. Piper sees Olie walking down the hall.
Where: Random Hallway near the Great hall.
When: Saturday Afternoon
Rating: G/PG most likely.
Status: Ongoing

The first week of school had been a little bit strange for Piper, she'd started to have a few more 'crushes' but nothing serious at all, she was made a prefect and had the extra duties of being a prefect, she liked it though. It was sort of good to know that she could be a prefect, or that she could do something else okay. Piper's classes had more work but she didn't mind too much, she did mind how people had sort of changed that year. She didn't understand all of it, but she also didn't bother worrying about it too much. She'd help if she could, but was probably making it out to be more than it was in her head. She did that a lot...

Piper was busy wandering around trying to avoid her homework, and avoid some people she didn't feel like talking to. She'd been outside for awhile just sort of relaxing and wasting time. She was excited to be in her 5th year, but she was a little bit sad that it was going to be Olie's last year. She'd still have Nate and Porter, but she'd miss Olie. She was thinking about how she'd have to find out if Olie had time to play Quidditch with her sometime soon when she saw him walking down the hall in front of her.

Piper grinned as she picked up her speed. As she got closer she finally spoke up. "You better stop in your tracks if you don't want to get into trouble!" She joked. Piper of course wasn't serious at all. She was just being silly, besides who better than to pretend to take points from than her own older brother who happened to be in a different house?

Piper nodded putting her hands on her hips trying to look really serious again. She wasn't doing a very good job of it though. "Yup, you did. Terrible of you really. I might really be hurt, a tear or two. Or I'll just call your Rubbish for a week." She broke out with a laugh after that. As much as she wanted to at least look a little bit seriously she never could, not with Olie. She adored her older brother too much.

Piper gave him an amused look on her face. "Just walking around for no reason?" She asked with a small shrug as she spoke again. "I was just avoiding homework spending time outside before it gets too cold again. Nothing really exciting, but you know, the normal first week Saturday stuff." She said shrugging slightly. Piper was a good student, but not a very motivated student when it came to classes. She just hated doing homework, she'd do it, but it was never as good as it could be. She didn't love school like Olie did. She often thought he was a bit mental for the pure fact that he loves school so much.

He pouted at her the best he could, though he still wasn't able to hide his amusement completely. "Oh, woe! Woe is me! What can I do to earn back your favour, sis? There has to be something!" But when she started laughing, he couldn't help himself and he started in on it, too. It was hard to pretend to be serious when he was around her.

He grinned goofily at her, nodding. "Yeah, absolutely no reason. Guess I was bored or something." He listened to her explanation, nodding his head when she finished. "Ahh, I see. Well, I understand. I've spent a lot of time outside, myself. Gotta love the Hogwarts grounds, eh?" He didn't pay attention to her comment about avoiding homework. He knew she'd do it when she needed to. Not everyone could love school like he did. That would just be insane!

Piper shrugged slightly. "You could always... agree to... agree to something I decide at a later date." Piper for some reason just couldn't think of something good. "Right now it is IOU." She said getting a satisfied look in her eyes. Piper wasn't worried at all, regardless of all the joking she knew perfectly well Olie was always around for her.

Piper pushed some hair our of the way before nodding slightly. "Grounds are nice." She agreed. Piper loved the grounds, it was a good place to go and just be comfortable and relax. She was partly looking forward to the winter, but she'd miss the good weather. She loved it when it was nice out.

"We can't have you being bored." She said nodding back the way she came towards one of the doors that lead to the outdoors. "Come on." She said before adding. "Unless you've got loads of plans for being bored that is."

He laughed, nodding his head again. "Alright then. An IOU. Just come and find me whenever you decide what it is you want me to agree to, and I'll be more than happy to do it." She was right; Olie was, and always would, be around for her whenever she needed him. What kind of big brother would he be if he wasn't?

Oh, they were beautiful in winter, too, all covered in snow. Fun to play in, too. But he liked the warm weather a lot, too. You could stay outside a lot longer when it was warmer, that was for sure. But he'd take them either way.

He shook his head when she asked if he had other places to go. "Nope! I'd much rather go outside with you and not be bored than to ramble around inside and be bored, no question!" Another grin.

Piper grinned. "Good, we agree." She said very pleased with it all. Piper would do anything for her brothers, although they tended to be more protective of her. She was protective of them, she just didn't always know how to be protective of them. She always was very critical of any kind of girl any of them dated. Piper always figured she had to like them. Overall though she just wanted her brothers to be happy.

The grin already on her face stayed exactly where it was when he said he didn't have anywhere else he had to be. Piper was excited, it meant she wouldn't have to actually go and look at her homework yet. With his answer she started to head towards the door.

"So anything I should know about?" She said in a very typical Piper sort of way. She liked to know what was going on with her brothers.

He smirked back at her. "Awesome then." He'd do anything for any of them, really, but when it came to Piper, things were a bit more defined, simply because she was the baby of the family (even if it was by less than a few hours) and she was the only girl. All big brothers were supposed to be protective of their little sisters, it was just the way of the world.

He'd not encourage putting of homework, no never, but he didn't think he was doing that. He was simply enjoying an day with his sister. She'd do her homework when she was ready to do her homework. He followed behind her, towards the door.

"Ummm, no, not really. Nothing much has happened yet. Shouldn't be long before they do, though. This is Hogwarts."

Piper figured all little sisters had to work on being annoying at times, but she didn't really know if she was good at that yet. All of her brothers hung out with her whenever really. Piper loved it though, she loved being close to her brothers. She just liked the support and all, besides they were all fun people to be around.

"What not asking anyone out yet? Come on Olie aren't you supposed to be some awesome 7th year that asks girls out and is sweet?" She was of course teasing him, she had to tease him about that. Besides it wasn't her fault she was 15 and all at once dating seemed so much more important.

"But yea, it is Hogwarts, I'm sure something crazy will happen before we know it." She added as they made it outside. Piper couldn't help but grin when they got outside, she loved the feeling of fresh air.

Oh, she could definitely get annoying sometimes, but he almost always looked over it. For every annoying thing she did, she definitely made up for it by being painfully wonderful and generally awesome. He loved to hang around with her! Then again, they were pretty close in age, they all were, so it was easy to get along better than a lot of siblings.

He tapped his chin in a thoughtful manner. "Hmmm, I suppose you're right, of course. But the year has only just begun, so I suppose I've plenty of time. Do you have any suggestions on who I should go after, then?" Olie had dated a few girls over the years, but he'd never had any really 'serious' relationships. Not yet.

"Definitely. Hogwarts is never quiet for too long." He smiled when they finally made it out, as well. There was nothing like the Hogwarts Grounds. It was magnificent.

She looked up at him with a silly grin. "I don't know, let me think." She put on a very playful little face as she started to think about who would be good enough for her brother. That was the trick finding someone good enough.... And Piper wasn't going to go for any of her brothers dating someone she hated. "Well you could always date.... "Darcy is really pretty and nice." She said thinking about it a little bit more. "I'd say Saxen but that'd be sort of weird." She shrugged thinking about it. "How about Rosalie Boot or Emily Creevey?" She asked thinking about it a bit more. "Come on you have to have someone in mind.... But you are not allowed to date anyone mean okay?" She said very seriously. "Besides I am sure you're just not telling me who you actually want to date." She said shrugging slightly.

Piper looked out over the grounds again before back at her brother. This was going to be hard, finding someone really good enough for her brother. She'd have to think about it more and figure it out. Piper really just wanted him to be happy!

He watched her out of the corner of his eye as she thought about suitable dating partners for him. Really though, he didn't think about dating that much. If it happened, then it happened, but he wasn't the type to go and search for it or anything. That just wasn't his style. "Yeah, those are all pretty good suggestions, sis. I'll be sure to keep them in mind," he said, grinning lopsidedly at her. "No, I'm really not. I guess I just don't think about it that much or something. But I promise it. No one mean."

He set off at a nice trot, Piper beside him. There was nothing like a nice stroll with your sister, that was for sure. He wondered if she was still thinking over people that could be a good match for him. He could excuse her, she was fifteen and only wanted the best for him, after all.

Piper was amused with her brothers reaction he didn't seem that excited about trying to find someone worthwhile for him. He was just weird! Piper figured that was just how it always was going to be. Personally she really sort of wanted a boyfriend, not that she would admit to that, she didn't like admitting to things like that. She wanted to see what a real relationship was like. Too bad no one really sparked her interest enough, and the people who did weren't exactly the type of guys her brothers wouldn't want her to date. Piper knew that without thinking.

"As long as you promise no one mean I'll try not to pressure you into something more fun." She said shrugging rolling eyes playfully at him.

Well, there was always people like Ashley, but he found it hard to think of her in that way, either. It was like Saxen almost. For some reason, he felt like they were sisters to him, having always been there. And other than that, no one really caught his eye. So, he was content with being single for now. Besides, this was his seventh year, and he really needed to focus on his school work. How else was he supposed to pass his NEWTs? He certainly couldn't if he was always thinking about girls.

He grinned at her and stuck out his hand, nodding. "Alright then sis, you've got yourself a deal. Shake on it?"

Piper wasn't sure what she thought about Ashley, it was part of the reason she didn't mention her. "I don't know I think you should just go for something interesting and have fun this year. It is your last year and all." She shrugged smiling at her other brother. Yup, he needed more fun and she was just the sibling to make sure it happened!

"Shake on it." She said taking his hand and shaking it with a good grip. Piper wasn't the type of girl to offer a dead fish hand shake.

He nodded, the reminder that this was, in fact, his last year of school hitting him again. It seemed like everytime he was reminded of it was a little bit harder than the last. He was definitely going to miss Hogwarts. "Yeah, I want to make it memorable, ya know?"

He grinned when she took his hand, going along with the shaking motion. "Bril then."
