Raleigh had barely gotten back to his dorm from his luncheon with Saxen. He had resolved to spend the rest of the afternoon reading. Which was perfectly fine by him. It was a pasttime he enjoyed and with so many other obligations it was hard to find time to really read for pleasure any more. But Darcy's comment in his enchanted journal caught his eye. Witty flirtatious girls always caught his eye. He couldn't help himself and after a few replies, he found himself with new plans for the day. If you could officially count snogging in the Astronomy Tower as plans, that is.

After folding his page in half longways, his unusual but effective way of marking his page, Raleigh closed the novel and set it on his beside table. He could get back to that later on this evening. He was still looking impressive in his own mind from earlier and only ran a hand through his hair to ruffle his auburn locks. Raleigh was almost to the door when he decided he better grab one of the Toothflossing Stringmints from his drawer. It wouldn't be a bad idea anyway. He returned to the bedside table, opened it up and grabbed a mint. They weren't close to being his favorite treat, but having pleasant breath before a snogging session was never a bad thing.

Now he was out the door, and on his way to the Entrance Hall. Once he arrived, he scanned the ominous room and noticed that he was alone. This was a good thing. He hated to make people wait on him. He walked through and around the room slowly. If someone, other than Darcy, should show up he could merely say that he was doing impromptu rounds and definitely not planning to sneak into the Astronomy Tower in a few minutes.
