WHO:  The Unicorn/Amalthea [ [info]the_unicorn ] & OPEN
WHAT: Amalthea goes wondering
WHEN: Day 12, afternoon
WHERE: Illusion City, Monoply Board
WARNINGS: PG/PG13, nothing too bad here folks.
STATUS: Incomplete

The unicorn had spent the entire next day following her arrival in the small dorm room she had been lead to by the goblin. The vile creature had explained that she would find human clothes, a magical book to write her thoughts in, and that if she wished to talk to Jareth personally that she would have to make her way through the King's Labyrinth. With so many changes, the Unicorn found she had little desire to leave her room. She did not sleep or eat, and only once or twice did she dare to peer out of her dorm's room and into the hallways around her. She noticed others, but made sure to be careful that no one noticed her. Part of her actually missed the company of Schemendrick and Molly, at least they would have been able to offer some words. Schemendrick could have possibly reversed this magical castophropy.

She had found a pale lavender gown laid out over a table, if she hadn't recalled the shape of the material she might have never thought it was something to wear. It took the unicorn far too long to figure out which spots to slip her arms into, and how exactly to ensure it was on properly. It surprised her to find that the dress fit her comfortably, it was soft and flowed lightly, and barely had any weight to it at all. It had been around dawn, when the Unicorn emerged from her room. With not a soul in site, she begun to walk barefoot in one direction.

She wasn't sure what she would find, eventually a city - one populated with more Goblins. Most of them looked at her in disgust, others stopped to laugh. A fair few solemnly acknowledged her for what she was, she thanked them and proceeded on her way. It was afternoon when she found the buildings had given away to an open landscaped. One filled with shiny metal tokens, three to four times larger than she was. Confused the young woman stopped and stared in an attempt to figure out what was going on here.

Olive's head was bursting with new information. The man she was in love with, the man she'd known for how many years, had kept a secret from her that was SO incredibly huge she was still trying to process it. She had barely slept the night before and she woke much too early in the morning. She was too awake to think of going back to sleep, though, so she dressed in a slim fitting dress that accentuated her generous chest and slender hips. It didn't quite fall to her knees, but on any other normal sized woman it would have had ass hanging out of it.

The day seemed as if it would actually be kind of nice, but she didn't hold out any hope and took along a cardigan to pull over her shoulders if it got chilly. The weather around here changed as much as the landscape. It was down right infuriating. Once she was outside, however, she stopped dead in her tracks. What the...?

Her eyes moved, but her head remained as still as the rest of her body. She was in shock. Yesterday there had been an amusement park. Today, there was... giant game boards? Chess pieces easily Ned's height, if not bigger, loomed above her. In the distance she could see cheery rolling hills with lollipops lining a pathway. It was like some twisted Hansel and Gretel story come to life. Not that it didn't intrigue her.

When she got over her shock enough to move her feet, she ventured further into the realm of games. She passed a giant chess board, a giant backgammon board, a humongous Sorry board and a rather frightening looking gigantic Mouse Trap game. She scurried past that one, hoping to whatever god would listen that the mice were still inanimate. In her haste she dang near plowed right into a very blond woman.

"Yikes! Sorry!" She stopped when she noticed that the woman was staring at an inhuman sized Monopoly game board. "Holy Giant Irons, Batman!" Olive stared at it and then hopped onto the board. "This... is awesome!" She spoke in a hushed half-whisper before turning back to Amalthea. "Hi! I'm Olive. I don't think I've seen you before."

Amalthea's small figure recovered easily at the sudden collision. It did not take her long to get used to walking on two legs, instead of four. It was everything else that was taking some getting use to. She turned just enough to allow her purple eyes to find Olive. Unsure of Olive's motives at first, the unicorn stood as still as the trees and waited.

When Olive spoke, she slowly allowed herself to relax. It didn't seem like she was out to cause harm. Instead of speaking, Amalthea shook her head and looked back up to the things that had been called 'awesome'. She was still unsure of what they were.

"No ... I'm new here." She reminded herself to keep her replies simple, not wishing to draw attention to herself.
