Day 11
Who:: Robin, Sarah and Torin
What:: Running the Labyrinth
When:: Early Morning
Where:: Uh... the Labyrinth
Rating:: PGish?
Status:: Incomplete

Robin rose early, before the sun could, and began to make his preparations for the Labyrinth. He filled a pack with food supplies from the kitchen, along with water. He also made sure that he had things with which to treat minor scrapes and lacerations. He ensured that his quiver was full of fletched arrows and his bow was restrung. He packed a change of clothing and an extra pair of boots. He also packed a fur-lined cloak in case it continued to snow.

When he was certain that he was ready to go, he dressed comfortably in traveling clothes and strapped his sword to his waist and slung his bow over his shoulder. Both his pack and his quiver went over the other and cinched tightly to assure mobility. With his key and his journal safely tucked away, Robin left his room and headed for the outdoors.

He was surprised to see that the snow was sparse and he wondered if it would melt away before it snowed again. The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon, so he hurried along until he found his way to the entrance of the Labyrinth. Casting his gaze around, Robin searched for the companion he was to have on the journey, Sarah.

Sarah seemed elated that they'd found the entrance to the Labyrinth. He wasn't so sure he felt the same way, but she stepped throught and he turned to Torin. He didn't feel like it was safe for both women to precede him into the Labyrinth, so he hurriedly climbed through after Sarah to check for danger. It was relatively calm. Nothing but a light breeze confronting them at the moment. He glanced up and down the corridor they stood in before sticking his head out the opening and gesturing for Torin to join them.

When she had, he turned back to Sarah who was looking back and forth and musing aloud. He glanced down at Torin and gave her a small smile. He kept his voice low and steady, trying to control the vebrato as he unwillingly sang his words. "It sounds entirely plausible. The one thing I think we must not do is split up. We need to stick together." He glanced up and down the corridor. "Perhaps we should go right just to see where it takes us?" He glanced at Sarah for confirmation and lifted a brow.

His hand was steady on his bow, ready to remove it and shoot at whatever they might encounter. He raked his free hand through his mussed hair and took a step to his right. No use in standing around.
