More people needed to get through the Labyrinth. Seriously. It was getting really old being alone over there, castle or not. So, despite the luxury she'd experienced on the other side of the Labyrinth, she tended to spend most of her time over in the City of Illusions side of things. There were just more people around, and Faith had gotten bored of sitting around doing nothing.

So she found herself wandering around aimlessly through the city. She went on the roller coaster a few more times, but that quickly lost its charm, and she left it behind quickly enough. It just wasn't as much fun as it had been when she'd dragged Snape with her. So she headed into the main building, which she actually hadn't checked out much. Maybe a bite to eat? That sounded good.

As she got close, however, she found herself smelling probably one of the best scents she'd ever smelled in her life. She smiled and followed her nose. Pushing open a door, she found a huge, well-stocked kitchen. "Hey, what's up?" She greeted the room at large, having not seen anyone who had made that delicious smell, but sure that they were there somewhere.

What she did see, however, was pie. Lots and lots of pie. Grinning, she approached the counter where they were all laid out. "Damn, these look fucking awesome!"

Ned paused occasionally from his baking to listen to her story. It was fine with him if listening time stayed over. He hated talking. Especially to strangers. People who didn't know him but expected him to tell his life story? Not his speed. No, as far as he was concerned he could let her talk all she wanted. Besides, some of the things pouring out of her mouth were priceless.

"Well, there's plenty where this came from," he informed her, smiling as he added one last scoop of whipping cream. "It's all I do, after all. My whole life, see? So... Yeah. Anytime you want pie? It's here. Spread the word, too, God knows I can't eat it all." As he never had eaten a lot of his own pie before, this certainly wouldn't be anything new. "So you're welcome anytime."

Faith found herself smiling at him. People so rarely actually listened to her, and if he wasn't doing so, well, he was doing a good enough job of pretending for her. And, anyway, he was offering pie. That couldn't be a bad thing.

Still, she was fairly sugared up at this point, and thought a trip to the gym wouldn't be an entirely bad thing. So she nodded at him. "Shit, yeah, I'll totally be back for pie. And for you, too, handsome." She grinned and even winked at him, then spun on her heel.

"Anyway, I'm gonna blow. Catch ya on the flip side, man. Nice to meet you! Later!" With a wave over her shoulder, she headed for the door. It had been nice meeting him, somewhat to her surprise. She would definitely be back for more pie.
