More people needed to get through the Labyrinth. Seriously. It was getting really old being alone over there, castle or not. So, despite the luxury she'd experienced on the other side of the Labyrinth, she tended to spend most of her time over in the City of Illusions side of things. There were just more people around, and Faith had gotten bored of sitting around doing nothing.

So she found herself wandering around aimlessly through the city. She went on the roller coaster a few more times, but that quickly lost its charm, and she left it behind quickly enough. It just wasn't as much fun as it had been when she'd dragged Snape with her. So she headed into the main building, which she actually hadn't checked out much. Maybe a bite to eat? That sounded good.

As she got close, however, she found herself smelling probably one of the best scents she'd ever smelled in her life. She smiled and followed her nose. Pushing open a door, she found a huge, well-stocked kitchen. "Hey, what's up?" She greeted the room at large, having not seen anyone who had made that delicious smell, but sure that they were there somewhere.

What she did see, however, was pie. Lots and lots of pie. Grinning, she approached the counter where they were all laid out. "Damn, these look fucking awesome!"

Faith had no idea the punch had stung a bit. After all, she fought all the time. It wouldn't occur to her that other people might be a bit easier to hurt than she was. Also, she healed faster, and tended to forget about little details like how most humans didn't. So she just smiled at him and continued eating the pie.

"Best. Motherfucking. Pie. Ever." Faith didn't exactly watch her language, and that was becoming more obvious the longer she was around. Swearing was basically her native language. She was rarely aware of it, except for when she played it up on purpose because she sensed it caught people off guard. Right now, though, she was just sincerely loving the pie.

Soon, the plate was cleared, and she was eying the other pies. Chocolate with banana graham crust? Did she have room? She leaned casually against the counter once more, turning her dark-eyed gaze back to Ned. "Shit, home ain't so great. Don't see why you'd wanna go back. Here, all you gotta do is run through a tiny little maze, and BAM!" She snapped her fingers. "You're on easy street."

She seemed so at ease with herself. It was something Ned was relatively sure he'd never understand or be able to duplicate. Not only her free flowing mouth, but her casual nature and her apparent confidence. Must have been nice.

"Home is where my girlfriend is," he admitted, avoiding her eyes for a moment. It was getting easier to think about Chuck these days, especially when people were being reunited all around him. After all, if Olive had made her way here, why couldn't she? "And my business. It's stable there, not... Not things changing every single day the way they do here." At home, he didn't wake up one day with it bright and sunny and the next day find Christmas out his front door.

"Besides," he added with a slight chuckle, "I think what you consider a tiny little maze might not be tiny to others. Werewolves? Not my thing."

Faith decided that she did definitely have room for another piece of pie, and raised an eyebrow as she indicated the chocolate, asking wordlessly if she could have a piece. Assuming it was fine, she cut a rather large slice, dumped it on her plate, and dug in.

"Dude. Girlfriend? You left your chica behind? That sucks, man." She stopped to eat some pie, which was just as good, if not better, than the one she'd had before. Damn, but this man could bake. Finally, she chewed and swallowed. "I left this guy back home, Robin? I guess he and I had a thing, you know? But it's no big." Although, it could have been. The principal had almost broken through some of her barriers. So it wasn't like he was her boyfriend exactly, just a boy. That liked her. She sighed softly, and forked up another bite of pie.

"Enough with the lame ass depressing talk, for serious. Shit, yeah, the Labyrinth. I dunno how most people are gonna deal with vamps and werewolves. That coulda been pretty insane, if I wasn't, you know." She shrugged and popped the pie into her mouth.
