Schuldig rarely dreamt on his own. What he did get were other's dreams, that he was reading unconsciously while asleep. It was impossible to keep up shields while in deep, deep sleep, and he was most vulnerable to anything that people's minds sent him during these periods. Including dreams, and at the same time, nightmares. Tonight, his mind was tender and especially susceptible to stress, and he found himself wrapped up in someone else's nightmare.
There were large, frightening futuristic robots, and they were going after him. Who he was, Schuldig wasn't sure, but it was like he felt deeply for the man. It was one of the strangest feelings he'd ever had, but it all made sense in the dream. That is, it made sense in a terrifying way. He was tangled in his sheets and sweaty, his eyebrows creased in determination. Soon, his mind twisted the dream he was receiving from Rose. Now, the things were pouring a green liquid down his throat.
He shifted, screaming loudly as his back tore open, giant claws sprouted from his fingers, his face changed, huge mouths tore out of his shoulders, and he reformed into a drooling and raving beast. The robots may not have been familiar, the man may not have, but to Schuldig, this thing was. He'd seen dozens of varieties of these mutants, test subjects that were forced to change into monsters. It was especially chilling because he knew that if at any time during his stay in Rosenkreuz he had proved useless, he might have suffered the same fate as this man.
He was so deep into this horrible nightmare that he didn't wake or notice when Armand came in, though he would have loved to wake, or even realize it was a dream. As it was, it was all too terribly real, and another whimper escaped him. He'd be ashamed later, but at the moment he was just extremely distressed.
