She and Mercy had gotten away from Snape. It didn't particularly matter to her how it had been done, only that it had. The dark-haired man still creeped her out, mostly because he seemed to know things about her that he should have had no way of knowing. Of course, he could just be insane, but somehow she didn't get that vibe from him. Oh well. She'd just stay the hell away from him, that worked.

"We ditched the stiff, chica." She addressed the comment to Mercy as the two walked away from the gathering where Jareth had given his lame little speech. She still wasn't really cool with the whole thing, to be honest. Mirage had taken her from her home, yeah, but Mirage hadn't had a face. The Underground did, and it was Jareth. It made it easier to hate for some reason, at least to her.

"Look, I'm really not loving this whole thing." She frowned as she spoke. "I mean, I really don't dig being held here like this... I think I should go find that King guy and hand him his ass." She was half joking, but only half. In truth, she did think Jareth needed his ass kicked. "I mean, I saw that dude on Mirage and he wasn't so tough." Not that she'd know. She'd never talked to him, let alone fight him. But the guy had the girliest hair she'd ever seen on a dude. Though she had to admit, he had to have some power if he'd managed to bring all these people here...

Well, she'd deal with that later. For now she stopped walking and turned to the dark-haired, tattooed woman by her side. "Hey, I never really got a look at the tats in the caves... they're pretty rad." She looked the girl over and then shook her head slightly. "Anyway, so what the fuck we gonna do now, princess? I'm not the type to be all quiet in a corner after being snatched, know what I mean?"

Faith found the description very, very amusing. "Heh, Princess. Like Bowie if Bowie were like the gayest gay that ever gayed." She wrinkled up her nose. As already discused, both she and Mercy were Bowie fans. It didn't seem fair that this loser was coming along, looking like him only sort of... well, to be honest, Faith might find him good looking under normal circumstances. She didn't normally go for the insane glam rock thing, but he had an energy about him. But he had also almost kidnapped her.

She huddled close as the gates slammed shit, a little shocked by the whole thing. And, somehow, she found herself holding the other woman. Not that it was unpleasant. She just wasn't normally all into the touching naked women thing. But it worked, somehow, maybe since they were both freaked by the whole slamming gate thing.

After a couple of moments, however, she released her grip on Mercy and looked left, and then right. She frowned. "Shit, this is pretty much the most retarded maze thing ever. Hey, genius, it's supposed to have openings and shit! Fucker can't even make a good labyrinth." She sighed and started walking down, picking left at random and just heading that way.

However, she froze as Mercy spoke. Faith had been having a very odd sort of feeling since coming into the labyrinth, like something was stalking them. The other woman seemed to have some pretty sweet super powers as far as smelling went, she guessed that it went along with the shapeshifting thing. But her odd feeling made sense. Oddly enough, it didn't even occur to her to question Mercy's senses. If the other woman said it was a werewolf, it was.

So, because of the warning, she wasn't completely caught off guard by the sight of the thing. But God, it was enormous! She'd seen a werewolf or two in her day, but this was something else. Her eyes widened momentarily as she looked up at it, but she was never off guard, thanks to Mercy's warning. It was a little different than anything she'd faced before, but she never let that stop her.

"Yeah, let's do it." She liked the plan. And since she was naked and not armed with a sword or even a stake, she wasn't as willing to just charge in as usual. Of course, if she'd been alone, she would have no choice on the matter. But she wasn't. It made a difference. She bend down and picked up a sharp, jagged shard of rock. "Time to give ugly here some exercise better than a walk!" She charged at the werewolf, rock raised, speaking loudly to get the things attention.

Trust was something Mercy never did very easily, it was one of the things she learned during her time on the reserve in Bran's pack of Werewolves, so she was always on guard whither she wanted to be or not. Now however things were a little different and in a very short time she had grown to trust the slayer and right now she was trusting Faith with her tail, and the rest of her life.

Mercy saw no reason that the woman had been lying of her adventures as a Vampire slayer, and honestly she could smell lies from a mile away and in the present situation she was very grateful for her new friend being by her side.

She watched out of the corner of her eye as Faith stealthy picked up the sharp rock and called the beasts attention, this was her que to round around the back of the Werewolf so she could transform. The Labyrinth was looking to be a damn good work out if the size of this fiend was any measure for what could possibly lay ahead.

Mercy quickly shifted, her inner Coyote was already filled with rage and a thirst to protect, this was strange seeing normally her Coyote was a very pup like creature. She had to hold back her growling to bring about the element of surprise. Her yellow eyes were locked on her target inching on him, also watching for The Slayer to make her first move hopefully delivering a nasty blow.

One of her paws stepped on some rubble which made a nose shifting the Werewolves attention back to her, instinctively Mercy let out a primal growl and jumped into the air towards the beast latching her fangs into the Werewolves neck and pushing him against the wall. Her bite was strong locking her jaws in his flesh, blood splattered and stained her white/gray coat.

The Werewolf was trying to shake her off but she was able to stand her ground, her bite was defiantly worse then her bark. Killing wasn't something she liked doing but sometimes she has no choice, she was determined to bring this sucker down.

She had fought alongside strangers before. This wasn't so different. But she had to admit, she liked Mercy a hell of a lot more than she did most people. She and Buffy hadn't started off on the right foot at all, and Faith had still never really warmed up to the blonde Slayer. But Mercy, it was odd, it seemed that the two women had just clicked. Very, very unusual for her.

Hefting the heavy rock in her hand, but having no problem with it's considerable weight, she stalked toward the werewolf. "Hey, big boy, let's dance." She smiled, already the thrill of the fight was coursing through her veins. As always, there was no doubt in her mind what would happen. She and Mercy would fight, and win, and the werewolf would lose and be dead. It was just a matter of time.

The lupine creature swatted at her, but that was fine. Faith had no issue darting out of the way, and then she was close enough to strike. And she'd done her part of the job already, she noted, as a coyote came from behind the large creature and fastened to the things neck. Yes, they were going to win. She smiled and threw the shard of stone with all her strength. It slammed home into the heart of the werewolf. Of course, the thing would heal that damage, but with Mercy biting as well, it would soon all be over.

Not without wounds, though. A lucky swipe of the beasts claws got her on her shoulder, and she snarled at it. She hated it when the things that she was supposed to hurt, hurt her instead. But it wasn't major, and soon enough the thing slumped to the ground, dead. Faith looked down at her shoulder, decided she would live, and ignored it. It was bleeding a bit, but nothing too badly.

She glanced around, and still didn't see anything that even remotely resembled an entrance or opening. She sighed and shook her head. "Fuck, this sucks. I can kill wolves or whatever until the cows come home, but it isn't going to do us much good if we can't get out of this damn hallway."

As a human she had no really lust for fighting unless it was in her kick boxing classes and her interest in that was mostly breed from being a single mildly good looking female who wanted to defense herself from creeps. It did however do the trick and keep her ass at a reasonable size. In her Coyote form however there was always the instinct to hunt and kill especially when danger was involved. She could feel the Werewolf giving in to it's wounds as she fixed her sharp fangs into the side of the creatures neck, the taste of mercury from the blood seeping into her mouth.

Adrenaline pulsed through her canine veins she wasn't satisfied until the beast was still, she could hear the noise as Faith did her part as well to hack up the mongrel that wanted to turn them into lunch, this wasn't his day at all. The hug beast finally slumped down to the ground but wasn't without one last effort to knock Mercy off of him which he succeeded in doing, she was thrust to the ground letting out a whimper as she rolled on the dirty stone floor.

Hearing a crunching sound she knew Faith had finished the job and the beast was dead. She was hurting but slowly got up and walked over to the Slayer noticing the thrill of the fight fresh on the other woman's face, she also noticed a small cut on Faith's leg which she gave a little lick to cleaning it off. Mercy then licked her fur clean then changed back into her human self. “Nice work, did he get you any?” Her breath was shaky and sweat dripped from her body, she had a few scrapes here and there but over all she was fine.

"What an bad dog, so I wounder what we are going to be facing next a rabid easter bunny?" She laughed and leaned up against the wall at which point a few of the stone slabs caved in. "Hey look!" She yelped excited. "Look at this, help me would ya?" Mercy put her hands against the wall and started to push as she did the wall moved and gave way to an entrance which lead to another part of the maze. "Sweet." Mercy stood back. "After you m'dear" She grinned.

When the creature fell down dead, Faith was almost disappointed. Of course, she was also aware that it would have been very bad if the thing had survived much longer. Werewolves were nasty, and she wasn't really used to fighting them. It probably could have done a lot of damage to her if it had survived, so it was a good thing. But it would have been nice to have more of a fight.

Her wounds weren't much by the end. She was capable of tending to them by herself, just from the habit of long practice. But she felt a slightly rough tongue on her leg, and smiled down at the coyote. "Not bad, chica." She had to approve. The woman/coyote had kicked a lot of ass, and as far as Faith was concerned, that wasn't a bad thing. She patted her friend on the head, and then moved to the rest of her wounds.

It was mostly just the scrape on her leg, and a slightly twisted shoulder. She shrugged it back into place, barely wincing, and then smirked slightly at Mercy. "Nah, I'm five by five, girl. Ready to rock again anytime." She hesitated for a moment. "You kicked all sorts of ass." It wasn't a compliment that came easily to her, but she gave it anyway, along with another smile.

"Holy shit!" She grinned as part of the wall caved in. "Now that's more like it!" With new energy, she attacked the wall, and the two women soon had a path cleared. Now, they had broken into an area that was much more complex, rather than the long stone corridor they had been in before. She glanced around, and then shrugged.

"No fucking clue. You any good at this shit?"
