Hello, lovlies! Jen here with the first ever Into the Labyrinth mod post. Can I hear a Hallelujah and Amen? Anyway, let's just get to the update already, shall we? I really should do these earlier in the day, when I'm less tired!

Alright, so as we all know, and are all very excited about (Right, guys?) this game opens on Sunday morning. There are, at this exact moment, 16 characters coming in at once. This may be a bit much to handle, as far as greetings and things go. So, I was thinking to myself, "Well, self, Jareth can't welcome them all, can he?" But then I thought to myself again "Self, yes he can! If we do a big group thread. Jareth gives a big speech to everyone in a group thread in which everyone is invited to post." So, other than thinking I'm weird for talking to myself, anyone have any thoughts?

So here's what I'm proposing. On Sunday morning, I'll put up a thread that everyone may participate in. In fact, I think it would be best if everyone did participate. Jareth is going to be pulling all of your lovely characters at the same time, so even if you choose not to post in the thread, just act as if your character was there. Does that make sense? I just think it's the best way to get everyone into the mix. You can break out into subthreads in groups of two or three or whatever you want, really.

Okay, on to the second point of order. I was planning to do day changes on Fridays, but the game is starting on a Sunday. So, do we do a short first week? Or should I instead to day changes on Sunday? I'm really okay with either option.

Right, so that's the main business I had! Please post here and let me know what you think about both things! Thank you so much for joining this shiny new game, and I can't wait to play with all of you. We've really pulled together some amazing writers, and I'm excited for the game to start!

~Jen

A big first thread sounds like a fun way to start to me so I'm in of course. I think it gives people a better way to start then scratching there heads in wounder on how to slip into the game. So make it so mod of mine! heh!

Second why not just leave the day changes for Sundays see how it goes and if necessary change it around again later?

Great work my love! This place shall ruleth!

Duly noted, darling. I like both ideas, but we'll see what the rest think.

The big thread sounds perfect. I say Sundays for date changes, but my second choice would be Fridays, so...I'm good with either!

I've never been in a game where the days were moderated, so I have no problems with the day. I put my trust in mod.

W00t! Big ole entrance post works for me -- and as for day changes, I'm cool with either. If Sunday works, I say we just stick with Sundays. If not, ye with the modly stick o doom can change it to whenever and we your minions shall follow. :D

Sundays work for me for day changes!

And big group thread will be fun. *sees everyone standing around Jareth in a half circle while he taunts them* hehe

Big thread definitely sounds like the way to go. I'm personally hoping for some outrageous reactions myself, that's where the fun is!

And a short first day seems okay to me! But if it makes more sense and you'll have time to do them on Sundays, then I can see that working just as well.

...now I should go intro myself so people have a clue wth I'm rambling on about!

Yep, sounds like that's the way we're going to go!

Okay, I'll play it by ear and see how it goes depending on activity and such.

You should! Go on! Do it!

That'll probably be easiest, playing it by ear. I mean, if there's massive amounts of threads one day, you'll want to stretch it out, right? But if it's slow-going... Tada, new day! Keeps us on our toes. ;D

And ALSO tada, intro post made!

I think the group beginning post is a great idea. We can get everyone in a circle and play a name game so they all get to know each other (Snape, Snape, bo-bape, banana-fana fo-fape).

Personally, I am also all for heaping the day-change responsibility all on the mod. I will keep my eyes open, and will note the day changes when they appear. I trust you to manage the day changes in way that is accomodating and sensitive, but also not slack or chaotic.

I laughed at that mental image. But you probably heard me. Since you're sitting about five feet from me right now. (Hi, Geoff!)

Alright, duly noted! We'll play it by ear.

Uh oh, our secret is out! Heh, yeah, I dragged Geoff into RPing about the same time I got interested in it myself. He seems to end up in pretty much every game I do. Damn stalker.
