Time for a new event! Because we all need a reason to abuse our shiny new video feature.
This time, your characters will be able to re-watch moments from their pasts! Any significant memory works for this.
Anytime your character is shown on a reflective surface, it could trigger one of these memories; only it won't happen right away, it'll take a little while. Once it starts, it will be similar to when Syaoran found himself stuck inside Kurogane's memories. They'll be unable to move from their spot (regardless of what's done to them), and will just have to wait for whatever the memory's showing to be over.
In this case, though, anyone else can watch the memory as well. Someone could be passing by, or the journal could record what's happening (audio posts are also possible for this, of course). However, if the person watching doesn't already know what's happening, then their own view of the memory (and what they hear as well) could be altered.
For (a very dumb) example: Let's say character A is watching how he, B and C walked in the park. This gets recorded on the journal, and character D plays the video. But D only knows A and C. She doesn't know about B, or that B was friends with A and C. So, D would be able to see A and C, and to tell there's someone else there, but she wouldn't be able to recognize it's B, or listen to what B's saying. If A or C said B's name, or anything too revealing about B, then that'd be missing as well.
Or, to use an actual Kiseki example, say Ana's Subaru sees the moment he killed Sei. Aly's Subaru could watch it, and see that Subaru's killed someone. He wouldn't hear most of what's being said, he wouldn't see that the person Subaru was fighting had Seishirou's magic, and Seishirou himself would be irrecognizable.
The memory doesn't necessarily have to be altered; it could be shown completely as it was, it could just be missing a few details, or it could be missing lots of things like in the example. It can also be as long or as short as you'd like; it'll simply end when whichever part you wanted to "play" is over.
For someone to witness the memory while "passing by", they'd need to be close to the character who's viewing it; we won't actually have all of Kiseki covered in magic memory illusions or anything. Once they're close enough, they'll be able to move, unlike the person who the memory belongs to. And both characters will be able to talk to each other, although whatever they say won't stop the memory from playing.
This event starts now and will end on Monday 7.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions o/
