It's honestly rather nice to just be able to work and not have to worry about imminent danger and horrible threats.

Vex, dear, I made you a few new arrows. I think, or rather I hope, you will find them satisfactory.

And Vax'ildan, I made you a dagger. It is...quite different from your others. Please do not throw it. I say that knowing you will throw it. And when you do, I will remind you that I did tell you not to.

I've made some rather interesting bullets as well. It's been quite some time since I have been able to get real work done.

	You know that I feel the same way. I would always trade my life for yours. It just so happened that I did something terribly stupid, and I paid for it dearly. We're both very lucky. Stop blaming him so harshly. He might have set off the trap, but it's my own greed that made me unable to wait. If it hadn't been him, it probably would have been me. I wasn't thinking any more than he was. And he feels bad enough without you glowering at him all the time.

I know. We've had an alarming number of close calls. Neither do I. It's been an awful time for all of us lately.

I'm not as angry as I was. I could have killed him when he first told me what happened. But now... Now it's just a simmering feeling in the pit of my stomach that keeps mixing with regret and sympathy and frustration. I love the little idiot. And I hate how he beats himself up over every little thing. But I can't just... stop feeling how I do. Trust me. If I could, a LOT of things would be easier.

Pike. You. Grog. Tibs. And we're not getting Tibs back. I don't want to lose any of the rest of you like that. I couldn't stand it.

She keeps telling me that some deaths happen for a reason, but I'm having a really hard time seeing that, Vex. I'm trying. Especially when I know I can't change it. But I don't know if I can believe the way I should.

We're both to blame for what happened. I can't be angry at him. I don't like him beating himself up any more than you do though. I know, I'm not asking you to stop feeling that way. Just try not to take it out on him so much, yeah? We're all stuck here, I don't want things to get awkward.

No, we're not. We lost our home, and almost lost our second one. I'm so.. angry that we weren't there, fighting along side of Tiberius. If we were there then.. maybe that wouldn't have happened.

I think that's going to take time. And time is probably something we don't have a lot of back home. We're going to be lucky if any of us survive.

We probably couldn't have made a difference, Vex. The Ravenites were luring them into traps. The only thing we could have done was add to the spiked body count.

We couldn't have torn him away even if we'd tried. Even if it was the only way to save his life.

	Me being angry at you about this would just result in you having a brother leech for a few weeks. He had his family. He was the only one of us that had that to fall back on. I was looking for redemption with Sarenrae, for all of the things that I did to survive, for us to survive. This is... different, but I think it might take me where I was trying to go.

Pike told me that it's natural to have doubts and struggle. That it's more about the journey than the destination. And I'm going to see this one through.

As long as we find a way to stop this, it'll be worth the sacrifices we have to make.
