I'm not sure what's going on, but I am sure that dinosaurs are always a terrible idea. I know because pop culture has taught me this.

I already ruled this out as hallucination, mind control dream, or some form of hysteria, so now I'm just leaning toward insane, but officially not my brand of insane, and therefor not my fault.

So, who's running this joint? Please tell me it's not a T-Rex. Or actually, tell me it was, it'd make my day better.

	If it's about the argument about me being evil, one of the SHIELD agents sold another agent out to HYDRA and left her there to be brainwashed and manipulated. I was trying to get her to admit what she had done was wrong and apologize so that the agent I had gotten out of HYDRA could move on with her life. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That sounds complicated and badly explained by someone invested in doing that. But walk the path of righteousness if that's your new way. There's a good bullet points list of murder and attempted murder I've run across though, so call me skeptical. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

You know, I think I might have misjudged you for years, Stark. At least you're honest about it all.

Unfortunately, I'm no engineer. Deception about the only tool I have in my belt. And every time I've tried to use it to make up for things, people just assume I'm sincerely working for the opposition instead of pushing them into a position where they can be easily dealt with.

	Hey, when you're only got reports and media presentations to go on for years, you get a certain impression. Only when they know you were a sneaky spy liar for the wrong side. Every other sneaky spy liar gets the benefit of the doubt before they assume they've sold out or swapped sides. SHIELD'S very much become a one strike and you're out situation. He was helping me try to get closure after I found out it was another SHIELD agent who sold me out and allowed HYDRA to capture me and brainwash me into doing what they wanted. Grant saved me from them and then SHIELD locked me up and threw away the key when he left me with them and the agent responsible for me getting captured in the first place was there. So I took the first available opportunity to get out of there and took her with me so we could try and get her to admit to what she'd done and apologize for it.

The SHIELD agents here don't like Grant because they fail to see that he was never loyal to HYDRA but to the man who had manipulated him for half his life. They don't understand what he went through and how he did what he had to, to survive and for no other reason. They think he is evil because what he has done doesn't fit nicely into their views on things.

Still complicated. And told by the personally involved, which makes it dicey on a facts base. I say this as someone who is always personally involved and always dicey on facts therein.

SHIELD has a pretty liberal definition of what's acceptable body counts and actions, so if they've got their hackles up, there's probably reasons. I mean they're wrong. Frequently and disastrously, but still.

But fine, until proven otherwise, he is trying to walk the light side and put down his red light saber. If proven otherwise, I'm done again.

	It is complicated. He isn't evil like they're claiming. He helped me when they wouldn't. He has done things he regrets and those are why they've got their hackles up. But he is trying to do the right things, he has done since we've been here. They refuse to even acknowledge that he's trying though. (Reply to this) (Parent)
