Okay. I'm pretty sure (like 99.9% sure) that I'd decided my only relationship was going to be with science so this is incredibly awkward.

I vaguely remember you saying something along those lines a while back. I don't know what's going on but it doesn't get more awkward than waking up in bed with someone you hardly know. Is that what happened to you?

Yeah, that's still the plan I just became less vocal about it.

That's exactly what happened to me. I have no idea who he is, I didn't even realize he was here until part way into my morning routine. Did it happen to you?

Just so long as you don't shut yourself away from the world and solely focus on science.

You didn't realize when you woke up next to someone? Yeah, it happened to me too. I woke up next to a woman and I don't remember how I ended up here. Even better we're both wearing wedding bands.

I'm trying to avoid that. Staying away from undertaking huge projects without someone to pull me back from the brink and just tinkering with my suit. I've kind of accepted some things. I think I'm stronger for it.

I can be a little oblivious. I may have noticed but didn't realize anything was wrong. A woman? I woke up next to a man. And, yeah. I'm wearing a wedding band too.

How about I be that someone to pull you back from the brink? I can come and check on you every now and then and make sure you're eating and taking care of yourself?

That's some pretty serious obliviousness. I can only guess you were half asleep when you got out of bed. Yeah, a woman. Which is weird because I've never had a relationship with a woman or anything. Have you tried to take it off?

I'd appreciate that.

I was half definitely half asleep but I can still be pretty oblivious. That really is weird. Especially if you've never been in a relationship with another woman or have shown any interest. I have. It wouldn't come off. It's stuck on there pretty good.

Then I'll do that, when this has all been sorted out.

Isn't being that oblivious bad when you start messing around with science? I mean couldn't it explode on you? I've never even thought about it before, well not really beyond what everyone does when they see famous people but that's not really the point here. Yeah, same here, I tried all the tricks I know to get rings off and none of them work.

Thank you.

I kind of get overly focused on that stuff which is why everything else falls by the wayside. Like time, sleep, social interaction, eating, and showering... It's already blown up in my face once. Luckily, I was working on the shrinking mechanism on my suit so I didn't die. I was just small.

Same here. Everything short of trying to cut my finger off.

You're welcome.

Are you telling me I'm going to have to remind you to shower as well? I can do that. Something blew up in your face? Maybe you shouldn't be left alone to tinker, in case the next thing that blows up doesn't shrink you but does something much worse.

Promise me you won't try to cut your finger off.

If you remind me to take a break I'll probably huff and then suddenly remember everything else. Yes, something blew up in my face and the explosion was big enough for everyone to think I was dead. I was just small. Then I wound up captured.

I promise I won't try to cut my finger off.
