World-building will always be one of my favourite aspects of storytelling and writing. I'm not sure whether I prefer to start from the small things - characters, details of culture and tradition, one city's nightlife and work my way outward to the general ecosystem and geography of the known world or start with broad ideas that paint a picture of a land with an impression or fuzzy idea that one then begins to work inward toward the small things. I tend to do both, depending on the subject matter, but I think the former comes more easily to me.

So if you try to stun your "teacher" they lock you wandless in a room over night with a boggart. So maybe don't do that.
I'd like to discuss what we're going to do to next time they try to make us curse him, though. I doubt that will be too far into the future. Pretending to fail is probably the easiest route for both him and us, physically speaking, but what about mentally? Nobody should do anything they're not comfortable with, especially not since they're literally telling us that if we don't curse him he'll get hurt worse, but I wonder if there's any way we can make a stand without him getting harmed further.
Tbh I can't think of one right now, but I'm operating on exactly zero hours of sleep at the moment so I think you'll be better than me on the whole ideas front. So yeah. Have at it.
I also really want to try and grab him again, but I feel like we need a more solid plan for that this time around. Zacharias, this is NOT where you say "I told you so". |

DA.Hi friends! SO. What do you think about using glamour charms to make ourselves look like Kevin for the next class, if they bring him out again? That way, if the plan is to hex him again, there might be CONFUSION as to who to curse. Maybe the real Kevin could even get away? At the very least it would show him we SUPPORT him even if it doesnt work because our glamours aren't perfect. What do you think? We'll all prolly end up hexed and in loads of trouble. I know Parvati is aces at glamour charms. Maybe we can all practice and try and get the his look down? so. YEAH. |
