"That is so fake."
Tristan glanced down to where Lily's head was resting on his thigh, and he tugged lightly at a lock of her hair. "'course it's fake. They can't very well go about shedding real blood on TV, can they?" He teased her before he settled his hand on her hair again, stroking his fingers lightly through it.
"No, I mean, it doesn't even look like -- shut up." She shoved at Tris' opposite knee before she shifted and stretched into a more comfortable position. She reached for her Blackberry to send (another) message to John to see if he had plans of joining them any time ever before she glanced to where Tyler was seated in one of the other chairs.
The gathering had been completely impromptu. It was a matter of 'hey did you know' followed by a 'let's go watch' and thus they were gathered in Tris and Hugo's suite, television confiscated, volume up, door open, waiting for the others to show up. On a whim, she messaged Remus too, and figured Hugo'd find them ... whenever he got done doing whatever he was doing wherever he was doing it.
"Should I kick John when he comes in?" Tris asked as he watched Lily texting at the awkward angle.
"He won't know why. Then he'll just set you on fire, then I'll have to yell at him, and then we'll have to leave to have makeup sex ... you know how it goes."
"Not lately," Tris said as he plucked Lily's Blackberry out of her hands to send a message to Landon to come join them. He grinned and handed it back before he settled against the couch. "You should tell one of them to bring food," he suggested.
"You bring food," she countered.
"Can't. There's something giant and red weighing me down." He grunted, then laughed quietly as LilyLu slugged his thigh again. "I'd have to move," he pointed out.
"Whatever. I'll let it slide this time."
"Thanks, for that," he murmured as he upped the volume another notch or so. He wondered, honestly, how many people they could really get in here. With the door open and the volume this loud, they were bound to attract ... some people, right?
