John looked doubtfully towards the floor before he crossed his arms over his chest and shook his head. He really didn't take that much issue with sitting on the floor, but he wasn't ready to give up quite that easily, either.
"Think Tristan should give up his spot then. I'm a guest, after all. Isn't it rude or something to make me sit on the floor?" If that didn't work, he'd probably give up and try to get Lily to make it up to him later.
"I think people have to have manners first to worry about being rude. I'm not sure that applies to me and Tristan. We're awful hosts," Hugo replied with a grin.
Remus was amused at the exchange, but didn't really feel like he knew the others well enough to contribute too much. He scooted his chair closer to Tyler's and leaned towards the other boy to ask, "Have you seen this before?"
He had leaned close enough that he could drop his voice just a bit, under the pretense of not wanting to disturb people (even if only Lily seemed to be watching it) from the movie.
