RP: The pool.
Characters: Laura Roslin and Open.
Time/Date: Thursday, early afternoon.
Location: The pool.
Warnings/Rating: TBD.
Summary: Just chillin'.
Status: Open, ongoing.
After her initial shock and commentary, Laura had, for the most part, backed off from the network, and from the others in the hotel. She had to think, and plan, and there wasn't much the others seemd to be able to offer, as though they'd resigned themselves to what was happening. If there were people behind this, that meant they could be reasoned with. They could be contacted somehow. And depending on where they'd trapped them - maybe the Fleet could be contacted, too. They'd all been provided with communication devices. There had to be some way. Hence, why she had to think.
Laura had always liked water very much, so it was only natural, to her mind, that to think, she drift up to the pool to get a little privacy. Draping her jacket over a chair, she tugged up her skirt a little and tied it around mid-thigh - it was a little longer than her usual ones, and she didn't want it to get in the water. Sitting on the edge of the pool, she let her feet dangle in the water, shutting her eyes as she let her mind empty. If she kept calm - did something like meditate, the way she'd been taught by Elosha - she knew she'd enter a state where she could think logically, objectively. If she didn't, she'd lose sight of her goal and let her emotions cloud her judgment.
Funny, she thought, letting a tiny smile creep onto her face. Normally she was just so emotional.
