No one knows, so yeah, it's a guess. That's the definition of the word.

And even if he did just blink out of existence entirely, according to the Many-Worlds interpretation of the universe, which is clearly what we're operating under, he's still back home fighting a war. So what does it even matter? My thinking has never been wishful. Practical, fatalistic, and violent, but never wishful.
