Who: Mandy and Drew
When: Friday Night
Where: Mandy's Apartment
What: Apologizing
Rating: TBA

Drew had been pacing around his own apartment all day. His thoughts were partially on the conversation he'd had with Mandy over the journals and partly on his conversation with Ali. He was agitated, worried, and feeling just a little bit guilty on top of that. He shouldn't have been such a dick to Mandy. She'd blown up her potions lab, admitted to being hurt, and he'd gone and owled over her Chinese because he was jealous of stupid Roger Davies. It was a shite move on all fronts ... even if it had been the first time he and Geoff had really hung out in weeks. He should have gone over and made sure she was okay. She'd said she wasn't mad at him, but he was pretty sure this was one of those times where saying she wasn't mad meant that she was livid. God. Everything was just so complicated and catching up to him.

He didn't know what to do with Mandy. He cared more about her than he even realized. He'd been doing good with ignoring just how much he liked her, but then he'd asked her to stay and he'd absolutely loved having her fall asleep beside him ... something he never expected to like. Frustrated, he ran a hand through his hair before moving to find his shoes. Before apparating to her Apartment, Drew made a quick stop first. He figured an entire bouquet of roses was more than a little much (not to mention not particularly his style), Drew arrived outside Mandy's door with a single red rose. Merlin, he really had no idea what he was doing. Glancing between the flower in his hand and Mandy's door, he debated what it was he was going to do.

Eventually he did reach out, turning the door handle and pushing the door open. Maybe he should have knocked? Was he allowed to just walk in? Annoyed with himself, he shook his head and stepped inside, closing the door behind him. When had everything changed. He never questioned himself before. "Mandy?"

He chuckled under his breath when she tugged him toward the living room with the instructions to turn the game on. It was very domestic and he found he really liked it. He liked the thought that they were comfortable enough around each other for something like that. He was also ridiculously amused that she always seemed to have a few bottles of his favourite ale kicking around her fridge.

Accepting the beer with one hand, he used his free hand to pull her back to him, his lips catching hers in a deep kiss. He really did just love the feel of having her pressed against him. After several long moments, he pulled away. "You're far too adorable for your own good," he chuckled, releasing her and moving into the living room to do as he'd been asked. It took a moment to find the game, but once it was playing on the television, he moved back toward the kitchen.

Whether or not it was his kitchen or hers, she always looked quite at home. He liked watching her cook or bake or brew. It was comforting just watching her. "Did you need any help?" he asked, leaning against the door frame. He might not like to cook, but he wasn't completely useless in the kitchen. He did get tired of Chinese food from time to time.
