Who: Addie and Bennett
When: Early Afternoon
Where Grand Central, at what used to be the Campbell Apartment.
What: Addie tries not to set the building on fire.
Addie had been enjoying the accommodations of the Grand Central Terminal for a couple years now. It wasn't exactly cozy there, specially in the winter, but she had lived in worse places after the pandemic. And all things considered, the Grand Station was a nice place to live in with its large spaces for living quarters and its hiding places too. Privacy was a rare commodity these days and she could take advantage of the place for some quiet time if she felt like it. Addie didn't like the acoustic of the building much, though. The sound of a screaming child on the main concourse echoed all over the place. It was very upsetting, especially when one was trying to get some sleep. On the other hand, the acoustic made for a good alarm system. Any zombies are eating my leg could be heard from miles.
This afternoon, Addie wasn't looking for a quiet place. She was trying to see if she could use wood in one of the ovens she located at the Campbell Apartment. The lounge was once a private office and had been restored and turned into to a cocktail lounge. Addie wondered what its previous' owner, some dude named John W. Campbell, would think of its chairs and tables being destroyed and shoved into an oven. He would probably hate that more than the zombies themselves.
Oh well, it was all a matter of priorities.
