It didn't take much thinking to determine she needed out. She didn't want to come out of hiding, but going out after dark without at least a flashlight would be pretty stupid. At the very least she was planning on staying close to the safe house so she probably wasn't going to need a weapon with an exception to probably running like hell was on her heels should something make it passed the snipers that pulled night watch.
She just needed out and no amount of dance could change that.
Retrieving her flashlight George left. Danny was pestering her with questions about where she was going but she couldn't hear him. It wasn't fair she knew to make him worry but she was just jumbled enough not to feel guilty about it right then. She couldn't even be bothered to remember to grab her coat as she was walking away. All she had on was her hoodie and jeans as she walked out into the night.
She was just so mad. And he was mad at her in return. For once in over a month they were on familiar ground. And that fact alone was almost more comforting than everything that had happened in the last month. But he had the gall to say she wanted him miserable. She didn't want him miserable, he could be happy without dating. He could be happy without a freaking robot. He never once mentioned the girl to her and then he just up and goes I'd like to date her. How in the seven hells did he expect her to react?
Hands stuffed in her pockets George walked down the sidewalk music blaring from her iPod as she went. She'd finally found what felt like the perfect song to her. But she plucked one earbud out and tucked it into her hoodie and lowered the volume. Just because she was close to the building didn't mean she could throw precaution out the window.
She didn't even really care if Ollie joined her. Sure it sounded nice on the forums but she didn't really have the emotion to spare on the idea. If he came he came if not that was fine by her too. She just needed to exercise some of what she was feeling.
