WHO: George and Evan.
WHAT: Siblings being siblings. I don’t know she has The Game of Life anything can happen.
WHEN: August 2, evening.
WHERE: Evan’s cozy apartment.
RATING: Medium?
STATUS: In progress.
As promised George was implementing step one of her brilliant plan in retaliation for Evan hiding the megaphone from her come Saturday. Under her arm was a very beat up box of The Game of Life that she’d taken from the daycare. Okay maybe it wasn’t exactly a real retaliation plan because honestly the game was harmless and she’d only half meant it when she said he’d regret it. It was only a megaphone, which was not stopping her at all from mentally listing the places that her brother might have hidden it that she planned to search just so her snarky commentary was forced upon everyone for a little while.
Besides going to see her brother gave her something else to other than stare at her cell phone until she passed out writing and erasing text messages to Luke. She knew Rae had a point, and she did genuinely want to spend time with her boyfriend. She missed him but then he’d inevitably ask why she’d pulled away and she didn’t have answers to those questions, at least not ones that she was comfortable sharing. If she could help it Luke was never going to find out why she’d pulled away when Elliot got bit.
The door was coming closer and with it, a growing ache in her ankle. She’d been stretching it slowly working up to longer periods of time with her full weight on it. She still had a ways to go which was making it harder for her to sleep at night since she wasn’t nearly as active as she was usually. But she was managing even if she was getting up closer to nine thirty, ten o’clock these last couple days. Taking a deep breath, she pushed forward to finally reach the door to Evan’s room and knocked and then waited.
