Who: Students of Idris (OPEN - tag yourself in)
What: Impromptu gathering of friends who need to mourn the loss of a friend.
When: Sunset, Wednesday night
Where: Blitzball stadium
Rating: PG-13 (for language most likely)

Rocky only knew one way to deal with death. To respect it and honor those who had fallen from tragedy. But death had never been this close to him before. He had zero experience with knowing a living person and having them murdered close by. And the fact that another student may have been the murderer had his brain spinning. He didn't believe it was Jason. At least he didn't want to. But he knew how anger felt and the loss of control could slip pretty easily.

Rocky had to shut his brain off though and focus on something else. He had tried to help Hunter but realised she needed some space. Of course, her not letting him into her room didn't really help matters. So now he was busy, placing candles on the benches that surrounded the pool. It was busy work, which is exactly what he needed. Hopefully the gathering would help alot of kids deal with their feelings without putting their powers into a meltdown.

It had been too late for Bella since she was already ankle deep in her powers being in flux post being jumped. Her own meltdown happened when the news broke and her breaking down several times over the last few hours.

But there she was, dressed in head to toe black (the only colour was her hair since she is as pale as a sheet) with the words for both a Damien Rice ballad and "The Ash Grove" in hand. She had decided it would be easier to sing in Welsh since she was among the few who spoke the language. It would also let her focus on something beyond her haywire powers at the same time.

Pen hadn't wanted to come to the service in Julian's honor. It would be final then, really and truly final. But she did make herself crawl out of her bed and walk to the blitzball stadium, she felt that she had too. When she walked into the large arena and saw Bella she walked over to her right away. "Can I have my hug now?" She sniffed, holding her arms out to her friend.

As horrible as it would be to say, Pen was glad that Bella was just a bit worse off than she was. If she had to focus on helping Bella, she wouldn't have to think about all the things she was feeling.

"You know it" as Bella enveloped Pen in one of her fierce hugs. "This place is off the charts raw" her eyes beyond bloodshot by this point, her hand never leaving Pen's. "How are you holding up Pen?" not caring that her Welsh accent had kicked into overdrive by this point.

Ro had opted to go to the memorial to be a support to her friends. She hadn't known Julian at all, and the one interaction she did have with him went badly. Ro hadn't liked him from that moment and didn't care to get to know him beyond that. His remarks had rubbed her the wrong way. The Irish Faie wore a simple and modest black dress, the hem coming to just below her knees. She had pinned her Irish mourning brooch on her dress. It had been given to her before her mother's funeral.

Upon entering the stadium, Rose noticed Bella and Penelope talking together. Bella looked a mess, and Pen didn't look much better. Ro had only met the latter the other day, and she seemed like a nice enough girl. Fiddle case in hand, the redhead made her way to them. She placed a gentle hand on Bella's shoulder in greeting. "Hi," she said, her voice low and comforting.

Bella gripped the papers with the translated lyrics since she had not decided on a song. "Hey Ro" her smaller hand squeezing Ro's in return. Bella's eyes spoke more than words could: this having been a very long and emotionally draning day for her.

Pen hugged Bella back firmly, rubbing her on the back before stepping back and looking over her friend. Bella looked a mess, this couldn't be healthy for her. Seeing how badly off her friend was allowed Pen to hold herself together, she had broken down once already today, she really didn't want to go through that again but goodness knew she probably would. But not now. "Are you sure that being here is a good idea for you? It'll only get worse." She said worriedly.

She looked over and smiled weakly at Ro, she had only met her the day before. Pen was struck by how fast things changed, yesterday Julian had been alive and slightly annoying, today he was dead and would be made out to be a saint. "Hey." She said to Ro, nodding in greeting.

"Its a risk I have to take" Bella was honest. "Mum through it would be good for me to be around other people and since most of the house knows my powers have basically gone mega haywire I know people are looking out for me at the same time" she tried to explained. "That and I spent all afternoon in front of the common room tv till Z came to check on me".

Ro nodded, restating what she had written before. "I think it's a good idea, staying here. It's healthy to mourn with others, and it'll be a trial for your powers that you won't soon forget and will probably learn something from." She shifted feet, feeling a little uncomfortable. She wondered what it was like to be so perceptive to everyone's emotions. Ro believed she was empathetic, but not in the sense of a power. Bella must be going through hell.

"It's times like these that you discover your real friends," Roisin responded, giving Pen a small, appreciative smile. "When people decide to unite together for once instead of fight. Though, unfortunately, I fear there's going to be some big problems ahead." As a Faie, Rose knew that this was only the beginning. If the Therian boy had done anything... well. She didn't know what to think.

Pen nodded to what Bella said, if she thought that being here was a good idea, then it must be alright. When she mentioned Z, Pen cast a quick look around for the tall boy, almost without even noticing that she did. Z was bad off, Julian wa- had been his best friend. He wasn't taking the loss of Julian well at all, not that anyone was. "How did Z seem, when you talked to him, was he okay?" She asked quietly.

She looked over at Ro, seeing her with new eyes. The Faie girl knew much more of life and it's trials than Pen ever would, you could just tell by looking in her eyes. "I don't see how this won't start new fights. If a Therian did this, I have a bad feeling that the Faie will strike back." She said worriedly. She had read about the fighting that had happened before, it hadn't been pretty. If it restarted... who knew what would happen?

"Music is a good escape," Ro replied lamely. She had used it many times to express both happiness and sorrow. She didn't know Z, so she couldn't participate in that part of the conversation. She just listened quietly.

"The unfortunate part is that you're right, Penelope," Ro sighed, glancing around at the other students entering the stadium. "Some won't," she continued. "Lendie, for example. She's done so much work to create a unity between Therian and Faie. But others... there's no knowing, now, even if they said they were for peace and co-existence. An attack on one is an attack on all. They'll see it in the sense that a Therian broke the peace, and they have the right to retaliate." Ro, for one, wasn't going to fight. She would stand firmly by Lendie -- at least, she hoped the other girl would still keep her peaceful stance.

Pen let out a relieved sigh at that. "That's good then. I hope he's doing better than he was earlier." She had been worrying about him, Z was bad off. It was bad enough for her and she hadn't even known Julian all that long. Z was his best friend. "Oh, poor little Rose." She said sadly.

"What do you think people are going to do? Do you think that Lendie will stick with TFU?" She asked Ro curiously. "Or do you think she'll step back now that things are getting iffy?"

"That is the scary part" Bella softly observed. "The rage levels are off the charts which is scary enough but its like there is so much darkness around Idris right now" as Bella played with strands of hair. She mused,"All the emotion is swirling around me, so much of it raw and rage filled".

"Yes, I can imagine that sadness isn't the only thing you're dealing with," Ro replied, her eyes continuously scanning the crowd. She had been doing that ever since the news hit. Watching for any Therian/Faie activity was keeping her on edge.

"I hope Lendie stays with it," Ro continued, turning to Pen. "She doesn't seem like the type to back down. And I'm glad because we really need this right now." A feeling of foreboding had been growing as they stood here talking. She would have to write her father.

"I guess the only way to combat the rage is by doing the best that we can to be happy, that's what Julian would have wanted." Pen said, trying her best to cheer up Bella. "And if things get too bad, I could always make myself happy and you can come hang out with me." She smiled sightly.

Pen didn't really know or understand what the problem was between the Faie and Therians, but she didn't want people to fight. "Yeah, Lendie is sweet. If anyone can fix things, it'll be her." She shrugged. "I think I'm going to go find a seat, will you be okay Bella?" She asked, before looking back over at Ro. "And it was good to see you again, Ro."

The traditional Japanese mourning outfit, or mofuku, was a black kimono. Kat owned one but hadn't brought it with her to Idris. For some reason, it just never occurred to her that she would need to wear it at school. Instead, she donned black leggings, a long, black sweater, and black ballet flats. Her pin-straight dark hair was down around her face. Kat went to the Blitzball stadium alone. She felt a little odd going; she hadn't known Julian very well. But at the same time, she felt she needed to pay her respects. It was the right thing to do.

The witch took a seat on the end of a row. She wondered if she would cry, and who would speak, and what this whole memorial would be like. Kat had only ever been to one funeral in her life, and that was her great-uncle's in Japan. She was young and didn't remember much. It was also a Buddhist funeral, and she doubted very much that they would be similar.

Dylan entered the Blitzball stadium at a slower pace than he would have usually gone. He really didn't want to hurry because it just made the death and closure needed that much more real.

He looked above him to the sky, counting the stars. They seemed to shine even more brightly tonight, as if entering a new soul into their numbers.

Even after over 300 years of life, Dylan was not used to the demon known as death.

Catalina hadn't questioned whether she should go to the funeral or not, it had simply felt natural to go. Even if she and Julian hadn't been best friends, she had spent the past five years thinking he was a great guy and his death had been a shock to everyone. However, Lina was now left to stare blankly at the stands. Where was she supposed to sit?

The natural choice of 'London' was no longer an option, with her best friend having been pulled out of school as soon as the news had broken. Today was also one of the rare days that Catalina didn't want to put on a show, so any of her usual consorts were also out of the question. After a moment of consideration she headed towards Dylan who seemed like as good a companion for the ordeal as Cat could find.

"Nice night, huh?" Cat addressed him from a few metres, testing whether Dylan was up for company.

Dylan glanced to the side and gestured next to him soundlessly. "It's a perfect night to send him off, as any.", he said. "I've been looking at the stars and kind of hoping that Julian was one of them. He deserves at least that honour."

He gave Cat a tiny smile after his little speech and wiped a little bit of tears from his eyes. Had he been crying? He wasn't sure if Julian would have wanted that.

"I think I'm going to the bar later and having a drink in his honour. You can come if you'd like."

Catalina gave the slightest smile at Dylan's gesture, with the atmosphere being too tense and folorn to manage a full blown grin. "The stars? Is that a Faie thing?" Catalina wasn't intentionally being rude, but she was quite ignorant about Faie. It only seemed reasonable that people who lived for hundreds and hundreds of years would have their own religion. The notion of souls becoming stars upon mortal death seemed wonderous (and perhaps only a little similar to the Lion King). "He was a good guy to have around," Lina stated softly.

Drinks? "Yeah. That'd be nice," the reply was quiet as Catalina had used up all of her energy being furious and upset earlier that day. What she really wanted was a hug from someone who wouldn't expect anything in return, but she didn't know who to turn to. "Is there going to be a group though?" Her insides twisted at the very notion of having to consider 'safety in numbers'. In Honduras she would never go out with less than three others, but that was a different environment. Idris had always felt safe, minus the random explosions.

"Of course he was. I don't think there's anyone that's truly evil at this school.", he replied.

"I might be going it alone, but if you can think of anyone else, I'm all for it.", Dylan replied. He didn't like the idea of going in a big concentrated group himself, because it would just attract more attention to the group themselves. Groups were noisy. Groups were easily noticeable. Maybe that was a good thing right now, considering.

Catalina was sure that there were some evil people at the school, even if she didn't know them by name. Lina kept those doubts to herself, not wanting to insult Dylan's positive view of their fellow students.

Alone? Catalina thought to herself, alarmed. Would Dylan have left the grounds by himself if she hadn't happened to come across him? "Going around alone doesn't seem like a good idea right now," Catalina chastised him in a matter-of-fact voice. "Which is why I have to join you, though I can't think of anyone else," Lina replied. Many of Julian's closest friends may have liked the offer but Catalina was sure they'd find more comfort in people who were just as close to the deceased boy as they were.

At the back of all the arriving people stood Charlotte, but it was not the Charlotte people were used to seeing. Her eyes were bloodshot and puffy, and her face was not it's perfect mask of composure.

She had lost one of her closest friends and her brother in one fell swoop, and the worst was that it was her brother being blamed for Julian's death.

Closing her eyes as a few stray tears trickled down her face she took a deep breath. She would not go any closer. This was more Julian, and she could mourn him and show respect from the back.

Z didn’t want to go. He wanted to kill the son of a bitch, that’s what he wanted to do. The boy was not a violent male. He never retorted with his fists, and now, it was all he could think about. Julian was his best friend. They knew each other for a long time, and they were there for each other. Despite the fact that he was visually impaired, Julian didn’t care. And it was fucked up to have him leave. Nobody should die that young. Nobody.

With a help of a teacher, he arrived to the gathering, however, he had requested to be in the back and to be left alone. He did not want to say anything, even if he was one of the closest to him. Z did not want to beak down in front of a crowd. That was just not his style. He thanked that he had sunglasses to hide the puffiness of his eyes.

In the back, he leaned against the tree, head down while he twirled his walking stick idly. This was not right. While swinging his walking stick, he hit someone, but he didn’t bother to lift his head, “Sorry.” He muttered.

Charlotte barely felt it when something hit her, but she replied automatically to the apology. "It is fine," she said quietly, her distinctive way of talking clue enough for Z as to who he had hit.

Glancing over she saw it was Z, and her heart sunk a little. Was this going to be another person who now blamed her because of what her brother had supposedly done?

The voice was familiar. And after a moment of thinking, he realized who it was. Charlotte. Everybody was blaming her brother for Julian’s death, and that itself, was just wrong. Despite the anger in Z, he didn’t assume who did it. He wanted straight on facts before he was to blame somebody. He could only imagine what she was going through. Losing both her brother and a friend? That must suck.

“You’re Charlotte, right?” he asked softly, “Jason’s sister?...I’m really sorry.” He said softly. He wasn’t going to yell or blame. This was a place or mourning, even if he really didn’t want to be here.

Julian talked about Z more than he talked about anyone. She knew he and the boy were close, like she and Jason.. she only hoped he had people to help him through all of this. Chrlotte's room felt so empty now Nira was gone.

Something was missing from Deke's normally very confident step. He looked like hell, his normally messy hair even messier than usual. His eyes were bright red, and his shoulder were haunched. He watched his feet with slumped shoulders as he made his way to the rapidly filling blitzball stadium.

Not really wishing to speak with anyone, but not making the effort to keep himself separated from the crowd, he found a place on the grass and fell to his knees. His brain was in hyper-drive. He didn't know if he wanted to be depressed, or jump in and help with all of Julian's arrangements. Though the depression was slowly winning out.

With a tear-streaked face, he placed his nose on the ground and quietly sniffled to himself.

It didn't matter that he hadn't known Julian personally. Kaevan had seen death, had taken lives himself. But that was justice. This wasn't. There could be no excuse, no reasoning for striking down a life like this.

He didn't own any clothes that were really suitable for a memorial service, though his jeans and t-shirt were pitch black. Around his right wrist, he had his leather bracelet, and his feet were bare again.

He'd meant to go to Charlotte, but he didn't want to interupt her conversation with Z. Instead, he was giving out tea-light candles among the crowd, lighting them with a box of matches and trying not to think about the fact that London was gone. It was all just wrong.

Kae padded over to Deke, silently. He hadn't spoken to the other boy since their swimming race, but he couldn't stay away from someone so obviously in pain.

"Hey," he said quietly, kneeling down in the cold grass, touching the other boy's shoulder. He didn't know what to say, so he said the only thing he could. "Do you want a candle for him?"

Deke looked up at the vagualy familair voice and was greeted by the blurry face of Kaevan. Dekes insides were a complete wreck, and his emotional state was highly unpredictable. He didn't know it quite yet, but he was headed into a major depression, and he had to fight the urge to rip the candles from the other boy's hands and throw them across the blitzball arena.

"Hi." He nodded to him. Deke felt himself at a loss for words as well, and he opened and closed his mouth several times before any words or sounds came out. And even then, it was only, "Thank you," as he accepted the candle from Kae.

He looked around at the rapidly filling stadium and again he felt a flash of anger at all the people here to mourn someone they didn't even know. Fighting it back, he refocused his attention back on Kae. He offered the piece of ground next to him. "Would you like to sit?"

Kae could read the agony in the other boy like others could read a book, but he met it squarely, understanding. When hunters killed his family - when they killed his twin - he'd gone mad with grief. The same pain was shining out of Deke's eyes.

"You're welcome," he murmured, striking a match and touching it to the wick. Another golden star burning in memory. He hadn't lit one for himself. He knew he had no right. He had no memories of the one they'd lost.

Kaevan didn't hesitate. He should have continued handing out candles, but instead he sat down. He didn't offer empty words, or wrap his arm around Deke's shoulders. Nothing he said could make this alright, and he wouldn't lie and say Deke would be okay. You never got over this kind of loss - because Kae knew, from the waves of pain coming off the other boy, that Julian was as much a loss for Deke as Braeden had been to him.

You just learned to live with it.

Oliver sat in the very top row of the stadium, as far as he could be from everyone else. Where the wind could whip wildly without bothering anyone. From his perch he could see all the students who shared his pain as they gathered together for the vigil.

He saw his brother come in and wished he knew what words he shared with Charlotte, but Oli couldn't really muster the strength to control the waves of sound so they could flow up to his ears. He just sat there, breathing slow, a cigarette shaking in his trembling hand.

Shelley's face was puffy from the previous night. Her crying didn't wake her roommate, because she stuffed her face in a pillow, suffocating the cries, snuffed out like birthday candles. She was dressed conservatively, in black with a white headband holding her bangs back. In China, death and white went hand-in-hand.

She had papers in her hand, ranging from thought-out notes to little paper trinkets that were to be burned, either there or in privacy, where Shelley would mourn her friend Julian the better way. "I'm going to speak." she announced, her sharp, low voice a stark contrast to the muddled silence.

"I'm not going to stand here, before you, and pretend like this isn't a tense situation," Shelley wasn't the best public speaker, but her voice rang out, audible to everyone. "It's...an awful situation. Tragic. And Julian, one of my best friends, is gone...Some say certain people have a personality that, by default, are either loved or hated," She took a moment to swallow, pushing some stray hairs over her shoulder. "But I can tell you, um, right now, that he did more for me than I ever did for him. Not too long ago, I was sick, hungover," She let the word rest in the air for a moment. "And he gave me medicine. Took time out of his day to do so."

Shelley breathed. It wasn't uncommon to see people rarely cry, but she never cried, at least in public. She never cried in movies, never cried at any of her grandparents' funerals, and certainly never cried after a bad possession. "There was a saying that my NaNa always said when I was hot in the head. Um, it went like this. 星星之火可以燎原。 A spark can start a fire that burns the entire prairie." With that, Shelley paused for a moment, before nodding her head a little bit and backing up. "I'm done."

Pen had sat and listened to everyone talk about 'what a good person' Julian was and 'how horrible it was' to lose him. It wasn't until almost the end that she realized she had no idea who most of the people that went up to speak were even talking about. But it sure wasn't Julian. That's when she decided she had to say something, she couldn't sit here and listen to people morn someone that never existed.

She quickly walked up to the front and looked out at the tear-stained faces that looked back at her. Taking a deep breath, she started, "I've only known Julian for a short time, we only met at the beginning of this term, when he accidentally blew me up in the halls. That was a very Julian type thing to do, he loved pulling pranks. He wasn't a saint by any means, he was a cut up and a trouble maker. If he was here now, he most likely would do something insanely stupid and we'd all pretend to be horrified, but we'd really think that it was hilarious." She stopped and paused, this was harder than she had thought it would be. "What I think I'm trying to say, is that Julian should be remembered as who he was. We shouldn't make him out to be anything that he wasn't he wouldn't like that. He'd want us to laugh, even though I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to really laugh again." Pen wiped her eyes that suddenly were wet.

"That's... that's all I have to say. Thank you for listening." She said quickly and stumbled back into the crowd and sitting in a random chair.

Share Your Memories: Deke

When every student had spoken for Julian, Deke rocking back and forth in his misery on the grass, he finally stood.

Something had flared inside of him, and he was angry that so many people were remembering the fun-loving warlock with tears. That wasn't Julian, and it certainly wasn't how Julian would have wanted things. Julian was happy. Always smiling. Always with some sort of practical joke up his sleeves.

Rising to his feet, Deke made his way through the crowd towards the microphone. But when he got there, he refused to take the mike from the student handing it to him. Instead, with his classic I'm-pulling-a-prank smile, he dropped his pants and stepped out of his underwear. Luckily he had worn a long enough shirt to cover his jewels. He pulled his pants back on and stepped over to the flagpole that was flying their school flag at half-mast. He lowered and unclipped the flag, then discarded it off to the side. He then took the clips and fastened them to the waistband of his own boxers, and raised his undies up the pole. He tied off the rope, then stood back and saluted.

Bella knew this was risky since not many outside of Mathey knew she could also sing. She explained how "The Ash Grove" was a common service song from her homeland along with a small story about how Julian had heard her sing Damien Rice's "Cheers Darlin" in an empty classroom the year before. "Plus since he teased me about how confusing the Welsh language can be I'll sing "The Ash Grove" in Welsh" as Bella focused on the language at the moment. She also sang "Cheers Darlin" and was somehow able to focus enough to keep her own raw emotions from taking hold. But the music of her homeland was what kept her stable since like Damien Rice Bella's roots are also in Ireland.

Ro stood slightly behind Bella and opened her fiddle case, gently taking out the dark wooden instrument inside. She placed it under her chin and set the bow on the strings, waiting for Bella's signal. Once it was time to play, Ro closed her eyes and ran the bow over the strings, the notes of both beautiful songs flowing from the stage and over the crowd. Bella's voice was lovely, doing justice to both songs, and the Welsh definitely added to the atmosphere. Unable to see the other students, Ro herself was transported to another place, far from Idris. She was almost sad when the songs were over. After putting her fiddle away, she followed Bella quietly back to their seats.

It was after a few people had spoken that suddenly he was standing there, most couldn't recall him having entered and he certainly hadn't been making the showy antics he was known for. Dressed in his black leather jacket and a pair of dark gray slacks, a black button-up shirt worn beneath the jacket. He made his way towards a position where he could be seen easily and made a small nod towards the assembled group of students.

"Thank you, everyone. I know that, despite the fact Julian would have called me an emotional girl for saying it, he would have appreciated everyone here this evening."

He smiled a bit, sadly and briefly, before continuing with his words. His voice was strong and clear, one of his few endearing qualities. He didn't look like he had been crying, surprisingly well-composed for what turmoil raged inside.

"I'll make this quick, because we do have class tomorrow and because a lot of you have spoken about Julian with accuracy. He was a clown. A complete womanizer and a foolish..foolish young man. He would do things for shock value and always appreciated getting people out of their comfort zone. His legacy is the memories that make us smile and grimace at the same time, laughing at ourselves as well as him."

He studied them for a few moments, blue-green eyes observing the various people that had been brought together by the loss. His tone changed now as he took a deep breath, squaring his solid shoulders for what was following.

"But no one that truly knew Julian could deny the fact he was a good man. No amount of sarcasm or skirt-chasing could hide his character, which when he was pushed..he would do the right thing. He cared about others, in his very unique way, but he was still a person of substance. He had the courage to be what he wanted and not was expected of him, which is why he was loved. To many of us he was a joker, to some of us he was a friend, to a lucky few a brother, and to some he was more. He might have been taken from Idris..."

He was surprised momentarily by the emotion that erupted inside him, pausing in his speech as he looked to the ground and tried to gather himself quickly. He couldn't get the image out of his head, his friend lying dead..dying in such an agonizing manner. He breathed deeply, he could see the candles all around the stadium dimming as he prayed furiously and released a small sigh as he was able to calm himself successfully. His voice quavered only slightly as he continued.

"..but he will always be here with us. His friends and the people who honor him with our laughter..as well as our tears. And I promise, to all of you assembled here and to his family..the party responsible for his death will be accounted for and receive their due. Here's to Julian."

He pulled a flask from inside his jacket, taking a long drag from it and then saluting it into the air. He stepped away and made his way towards the back of the congregated students. He hadn't recognized his voice near the end of it, he hoped he didn't sound as cold as he did in his own ears to those here.

Cleanup (C.M. / Open)

He had told Rocky to go back to the room and get some rest, he'd done a great job setting the whole thing up. So Chris decided to get by with making sure everything was in order, he didn't really care about curfew. The head girl was going to toy with him anyway and they didn't have a head boy, so he might as well busy himself with cleaning up the candles and what little trash was left. He couldn't sleep. The dreams were worse, but he'd heard about Free and wanted to go check on the girl..but feared what might happen if he did. He couldn't compound her burden with the possibility of having to deal with his as well, no no. He hauled the plastic garbage can around with him as he continued to dump the materials inside, bright eyes slipping over and around the stuff that was strewn about. He slowly took the air in through his nose, feeling it fill his lungs and slowly expelling it with a soft sigh before setting the garbage can down and sitting on a step.

Continuing to pick up small pieces of refuse and toss them into the can allowed his mind to drift. Julian. Strangled to death. It had to be one of the most painful ways to die..to feel the life being forced out of your body and mind. Had he hoped C.M. would be there to help? Any of his friends? Z? Deke? Hunter? He could feel himself shaking again, the rage was unpredictable and he had to keep reminding himself that Jason wasn't the proven killer. Otherwise he would lose himself in that emotion. No, he had to wait. Keep it in check. But he fully..fully intended to deal with the person himself. It wasn't the bluster of an angry youth, no. It was a good thing that he could keep his mind still for the most part, because the slow and calculating way in which he intended to visit his wrath on the person responsible for the death of his friend would probably not have won him any friends.

It might have ended up with him being remanded to the medical ward for a week or more. It was surprising how easy it came to you. He took another long gulp off the flask. Raising it once more.

"To you, Julian."
