WE'RE WANKING AGAIN!!!
That's right, folks. It's beencoming a long time a long time coming, but we're back in lewd action at last.
Those of you who weren't around in 2008 are probably scratching your heads and wondering what the heck a Wankfest is, exactly. Well, we're here to explain it to you. It's a prompt-based fest that's all about the glories of self-love and the pitfalls of self-abuse. Pieces are posted anonymously throughout May in honor of National Masturbation Month.
Each participant is asked to choose a character, a location, and an object from a prompt list, then produce a piece that includes those elements. Think of it as being a bit like a smutty game of Clue. For example, you might choose something like Sirius Black in the Gryffindor common room with a squeaky toy or Hermione Granger in the Prefect's bath with a rubber duck. Anything goes, as long as it's all about the wank.
And yes, both authors and artists are welcome!
Prompt claiming will begin in early February. Pieces will be due mid-April. Specific dates, complete rules, advertising banners, and further details will be posted over the next several days, so keep watching.
In the mean time, you can go take a look at the previous prompt table. We won't be using the exact same table for this round. We'll use some of the same locations and objects, but we'll also be including several new ones as well. We're currently taking suggestions, so if you have any great ideas, leave them in the comments to this post!
