Rebooted game seeking new players! [03 Jan 2012|02:36am] After re-evaluating all the original information and cutting out some of the fat, I'm able to re-open my game as the new and improved sanguisfalling. Sanguis Falling is a supernatural themed game about the daily lives of vampires, demons, and were-creatures. Normal mortals do exist, but their lives are dominated by the supernatural creatures around them. There are a large number of roles available for application, but what we are in immediate need for are members of the vampire and demon families. These are the main characters who will shape the game quicker than any others. Please feel free to pass along any questions you may have. :) post comment

The 8th Floor - a Post-War Harry Potter RPG [03 Jan 2012|04:51am] HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME TO 2006!   The dawn of a new year is the perfect time to make resolutions. Some people resolve to diet and excercise. Some people resolve to stop smoking. Penelope Clearwater has resolved to stop gambling other people's money and to try to avoid setting anything on fire, but makes no promises. Tim Blenkinsop has resolved to come up with a less creepy explanation for why he keeps a tail in a jar. Lee Jordan's resolution is simply to avoid getting arrested. Pansy Parkinson, being perfect already, doesn't need to make any resolutions but has some suggestions for everyone else whether or not they want to hear them.   One shadowy new group has made a dire resolution: to reveal the existence of magic to the muggle world regardless of the consequences and they've already started taking steps to force the Ministry's hand. If you're not with them, you're against them - an "enemy of wizard-kind" whose name has been posted on a list of others like you. It's a list that's growing smaller as threats are made, blood is spilled and names are crossed off once and for all.   It's a new year in the Wizarding World and before it's over, life as we all know it will change forever. Their lives and deaths fueled Khaos, an ancient being who, after being cast aside by men for their new gods, wanted revenge. With her minions, she caused the helpless godlings trouble time after time just to grow stronger. It seemed nothing could stop her. There were however other deities, as old as Khaos, who disapproved of this. In order to keep the godlings from succumbing again to Khaos' thumb, he attempted to save them. But his good intentions were not entirely perfect and he ended up sending them into a different world with different and very false memories. Welcome to the continent of Zurvan with its varied climate and blend of medieval and steampunk. It is a microcosm continent-island in the middle of a vast endless ocean. Who you were before doesn't matter, blood is thicker than water. This is a new life, new memories but Khaos will eventually be waiting for you to remember, godlings. She will not stay down for long. [03 Jan 2012|07:10pm] Confundo (via confundomod) is a Marauders Era game set in MWPP's 7th year, now 1978.  Students are due back at Hogwarts later this week, and for some it will be their final term at school.  There are rumors of war, brought closer to home by the Christmas murder of Muggle Studies professor Blenheim Stalk. The game's quirk is that Dumbledore has instituted an group journal (confundoanon), where students can post whatever they'd like, anonymously.  It's created quite the fun and (IC) drama so far! We're looking for more people to join in the fun, and some specific roles as well: Siblings!  We are in serious need of some siblings of currently played characters.  Amelia Bones (younger sister of Eddie, via eddiebo), Amycus Carrow (older brother of Alecto, via purepetual), Kaylee Brocklehurst (twin sister of Andy, via andybrock) Apollo Selwyn (older brother of Cassandra, via noprophet), Niall Mullet (twin brother of Saoirse, via flyingfish), Edward Dobbs (twin brother of Pippa, via truthoutthere), and Marlowe McKinnon (younger brother of Marlene, via warmly)!  In most of these cases, only the character's name, age, and house have been specified.  You'd have built-in plot with instant family, and free range to create a character however you'd like to do so!
