It's 1981. Voldemort is on the rise. Death Eaters roam free. Hundreds have died or disappeared. As each day passes, the resistance grows weaker. Voldemort seems to be invincible and all hope seems lost, that is until a Prophecy is made; a child with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies to those who have thrice defied him and with a power that the Dark Lord will not understand. This child will bring an end to Voldemort's reign. And so the Dark Lord set out to kill this child before he could grow into a threat.

We all know the story, little Harry Potter is that child, his parent's die to protect him, the Dark Lord falls, Sirius Black is sent to prison, The Longbottoms are tortured to insanity, dozens more die, and the survivors are left broken.

But let's not get further into that, because we all know that story. Because, what if the story had a different outcome? What if you had a chance to re-write canon? Decide who lives? Who dies? Who wins the war?

What if you could re-write history?

Here is your chance!

Crescendo is an AU Marauders Era RPG taking place in 1981, when the war is in full swing. Through your actions, the story will slowly unravel into something new and exciting, or still have the same outcome. The ending is unknown, but the journey to discovering it will be a good one.

This game is taking the Marvel Universe and offering it to the player. Take your favorite characters and go with them to preserve the peace that is threatened by agents of chaos. How they are played and how we get there is up to us, the players. We give you full creative license. It is all up to us, as the players.

This game is taking the DC Universe and offering it to the player. The Justice League of America follow in the footsteps of the JSA. The Teen Titans, composed of several sidekicks of the JLA, is formed. Many foes native to earth pose a threat to the peace and order of many parts of the world in a world of uncertainty heroes rise to the challenge to meet them head on. A GAME OF THRONES AU GROUP PSL

Greetings from the Seven Kingdoms! We are recruiting players for a plot-heavy Game of Thrones group PSL on InsaneJournal, and we the mods (as well as the players) are seeking commited writers for a variety of main roles including but not limited to; Joffrey Baratheon, Oberyn Martell, Asha Greyjoy, Catelyn Stark, Stannis Baratheon, Davos of Fleabottom, the Hound & the Mountain, Euron & Victarion Greyjoy, Jon Connington, Jeor Mormont, Benjen Stark, Mance Rayder, Pyp & Grenn, Samwell Tarly, Edmure Tully, Jojen Reed, Doran Martell, Ellaria Sand, Barristan Selmy, Mace Tyrell, Willas & Garlan Tyrell, Obara & Nymeria Sand, the Queen of Thorns, Beric Dondarrion, Selyse Florent, Jon & Robert Arryn, Kevan Lannister, Trystane & Quentyn Martell, Roose Bolton & Ramsay Snow, Bronn, Jaqen, Shae and many others, including original characters!

The basic premise of this AU is that when Robert Baratheon and Rhaegar Targaryen met on the trident it was the stag who was struck down and the dragon prince that prevailed in his place, thus changing the lay of the land, so to speak. The game is set in the same year as the books begin, with almost all of the same characters, though certain characters have been aged up in keeping with the television series.

The game started on June 11th and both the mods and players are very helpful and more than willing to talk plot with new and old players alike! There is lots of room for individual lines as well as a lot of group plot spurred and supported by the mods, who are available to help drum up plot for characters that are struggling to find interaction.

Due to privacy reasons we have elected to keep this game friends-locked, so interested players please comment here or on this entry, and we'll friend the journal you respond with so you can see the rest of the information posted on the mod journal.
