 Voldemort was dead and life went on. Students who had spent the last year fighting for their lives suddenly found themselves in a world with limitless possibility, capable of finding new direction and new purpose. There were job interviews to go on and bills to pay. Funerals and first dates. Second dates. Weddings. Children. Twenty-eight years later, a new generation of students will be boarding the Hogwarts Express- the children of war heroes and villains alike. With the Second War safely behind them in their History of Magic textbooks, these students find themselves blessed with the opportunity to live normal lives as normal teenagers, focused on Hogsmeade weekends, school events and N.E.W.T. exams and faced with the choice to either put the past behind them or settle for living in the shadow of their parents. Adolescence is challenging enough, a time of increasing independence and creative exploration. As these teenagers prepare for their last years at Hogwarts, will they step out as individuals -- away from their parents' pasts -- or will lingering prejudices continue to affect social order? SWOTTING is a next-gen, canon-compliant RPG focused on character development, interpersonal relationships and providing a realistic school experience at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In a town so rich with history it's only natural that things go bump in the night. One of the original 13 colonies South Carolina has seen its fair share of things. From the Native Americans that first inhabited it, demure southern belles, and of course the occasional supernatural creature or two. The residents are left to consider one thing. A scratch at the window, soft knocking on your door, and those soft whispers floating on the air are they the ghosts of past residents or a supernatural being disturbing your peaceful sleep. Sleep well Scarlet Harbor...
There was no great revelation but the vampire and supernatural tv shows and movies are at an all time high. Vampires, Weres, and witches alike are fighting over to come out to the world or stay hidden. Of course there are those who already know of the existence of such mythical creatures. Scarlet Harbor is a busy little town that hardly lacks any excitement.
Scarlet Harbor is a nice sized town just outside of Charleston. Like any town it has it's staples and local hot spots. The big southern plantations, antique shops, local shops, and of course ghost tours keep the town busy and thriving. The community college is set just outside of the town but it's close enough teachers and students can commute.
