It's a school for people who have special gifts and want to work at pursuing them. A school that houses and teaches thousands of students every semester, with an impressive rate of success after graduation. Breakaway is not a dance company, a drama school, or a music institute. It is all three, and much more, located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Must Perform is a PB community made up of mature writers and awesome folks. There's a new group making itself known in the Wizaring World, sowing a new wave of fear and mistrust, opening up old wounds from a war everyone had hoped was over. The targets span all classes and levels of blood, Death Eaters, Ministry workers, and citizens alike. They couldn't come at a worse time. A bear market and a pushy Prime Minister already has Wizarding England on edge. Advances in muggle technology threaten wizards as more and more of them are caught on camera. The wisdom of the Statute of Secrecy is being called to question for the first time in centuries. Still, things aren't as bad as they could be. Suspicions run high, but the body count is still low. Innocents aren't being killed. Yet. Many in the country believe the Ministry's assurances and try to live peaceful lives as best they can. They don't realize how rapidly their chances for peace are disappearing... The 8th Floor is a DH-compliant, post-war game that aims to take a look at the interplay between the magical and muggle worlds and the myriad of problems something like the Statute of Secrecy could cause.
