We hope to provide you with a fun and active home for all your next-gen ideas and stories. We have taken the liberty of creating families and sorted the various new generation of Hogwarts students into the four houses. We hope that you will find a character that fits what you have in mind and that you will really make it your own. All we have provided you with is a list of their family, their house and year, and well as a few rumors (via wizbler) that have been overheard in the hallways of Hogwarts. The idea behind the rumors is to give the game a little something extra and to give you a place to start with. Not all of your character's rumors must be true but at least one should be. We plan on updating wizbler at least twice a month and we have various other plots in store for our Hogwarts kids to keep you with something to do. What comes next when the world could not be saved?" There was a Great Cataclysm that had befallen the world. No amount of military might, nor technological prowess could stand against the wrath of the One. His anger was poised to burn the world. There were Six who chose to stand against the One. They wielded great power in the form of the Constructs, a strength unlike the world had ever known. Their efforts were valiant, but they were in vain; the One caused a solar flare to scorch half of the Earth. His war caused the extinction of well more than half of the human race. As a consequence of their failure, the Six were labeled Pariahs, and went into hiding. Nobody has known of their whereabouts for over five years. In the wake of the Cataclysm, we have been carving out as many niches as we are able within the confines of the ruined world. Worse yet, are the Nulls. Inexplicable horrors, shadows in spacetime, the Nulls roam the most brutal climes. Nobody knows where the Nulls come from, or what they do to their victims. Most avoid their Lands in favor of safer, greener pastures. Among the ruins stands the Spire, a haven for those willing to seek it. Within its walls are idyllic lands created by man to satisfy their needs. Vowing to protect the Spire are fighters known as the Savior Corps, who live in the ruins ready to battle Nulls who would try and take the Spire for themselves. You are a new recruit in the Savior Corps, ready to fight evil as the Six had. We are an old fashioned GM style game, but we will be capping applications at 6 to fill the required roles. The little college town is growing, and becoming home to more and more people all of the time. Some of them have no idea how they got there, and some of them can never go home. As the University gets darker with new arrivals harboring less than happy intentions, so does the city. It is now home to metahumans, vampires, humans, demons, ghosts, aliens and even celestial beings. All of them with defined morals (or none, for that matter) and each with an allegiance. Those without a chosen allegiance are considered fair game, as both sides subconsciously prepare. There is a constant battle for good and evil in this town, and only one side can prevail. A thin layer of dust covers everything. There are no panes of glass in the windows. The virus. You remember now. They told you stasis was a precaution. Only a few weeks. A month, at best. Let them get the virus under control. Standing beside your pod, legs shaking from disuse, you feel a sense of apprehension creeping over you. Your heart beats even faster now. [05 Jan 2010|10:19pm] GATE WAY PUB THE PUB THAT CONNECTS ALL WORLDS. Welcome to the gateway pub, the pub that connects all worlds and is accessible everywhere. All one needs to do is open a door. It doesn't matter which door either, could be your front door, your bathroom door, even the door to your space ship if you have one. Merely step through the door and you'll be at the pub. If you should want to leave you just need to go out the exit and you'll be back in your own world. Usually. Mistakes have been known to happen but you can always come back to the pub and try again. WHY VISIT THE GATEWAY PUB? There are many reasons to stop by the pub!
